Georgetown's performance has been way too variable over the last few seasons. This is a classic sign of a team with poor long-term strategic management, which often associates with a too young coaching staff (which they have). There's insufficient planning regarding talent accquisition and management, and it shows.
There's no reason for a program with the amount of money being pumped into it that Georgetown has to have such an issue. Their year-to-year performance should be much smoother than it has been for the 5+ years. |
