Do the Bluefish actually have a walk up crowd of between 1100 and 1500 people a game?? As of 8:45 am this morning it looked like their presell was approximately 1950, yet they announced a crowd, according to Rich Elliot over 3,000.
At 10:00 am on 5/10, the sold seats were about 800, yet they announced a crowd of 2042 for that game.
At 11:30 am on 5/9, the sold seats looked to be at 1350, yet the announced a crowd of 2692 for the game.
I know that attendance is a function to help sell advertising, but are these numbers actually close to the attendance?
Anybody who goes to games, please advise.

Come on down to Harbor Yard and find out.........
We have been at most home games this season and people are in the stands.
The team is playing well when you look at the individual stats......they just need to rally and keep momentum going in the games.

Lisa....We used to go to a lot of games in years past. Thanks for the post, however, you didn't answer the question about the attendance. I did notice from your comment of May 9th (which I copied below), you also mentioned the lack of fans.
I am sure there are some fans there, I am just asking about the accuracy of the attendance reporting!
Funny...this is actually one of the dates I asked about earlier.

Okay, I can say in my opinion the attendance by the end of the games really drops even when they're winning (but I have only attended one game that they lost). Even Tuesday nights game had an early crowd.....that dwindled to a few die hards by the end of the seventh inning.
I got away from going to the games.....and just starting going again the last two seasons and have not seen the crowds I saw in the late 1990's...which really saddens me....it is such a great ballpark as well as a great outing. I am all for whatever it takes to get people to the games......as I want my boys to grow up being able to watch the sport and understand it's not about the big leagues, it's about doing what you love. Tommy John and the boys that play at Harbor Yard, as well as everyone who works there, are truly wonderful people.
