Don't write off Rutgers...they still get an automatic bowl bid if they win the East...no unbeatables there, and probably no one as good as Fresno State...But they'll definitely have to play better. Fresno's offense didn't execute very well in general but simply won on superior talent and heart. Rutgers has to gut check and get it together before the Big East games start. In particular, they have to get special teams figured out because the margins are slim in the East.
Fresno is for real..really as talented and, for a change, deep as anyone in the nation this year. But they have a brutal road schedule and a panzy home schedule after wisconsin...not the way a team with championship aspirations likes to have things lined up...

Let's chant two little words: FRESNO STATE! Anybody that's been to Bulldog stadium knows that we love our Bulldogs. The team really represented in the East coast, Rutgers didn't look like the Big East team from a couple of years ago. Just like K-State, Rutgers received a taste of smash-mouth football, and what the Dogs are all about.
People say that Rutgers should have been up 17-0, should, coulda, woulda. I must say, Fresno had a late start in this game and still won by 17 points! What would have happened if we would have come out "guns blazin" like many expected us too, it would have been a lop sided game to say the least. If Fresno came out with more fire it could just as easily been Fresno 17 or 24 to nothing.
Fresno is usually a team that scores, and scores often. Fresno is known for averaging 32.8 points per game, so it's no surprise that they won by 17 points. In fact, Fresno underscored in that game, and with a few different things could have run away with the game....no wait, they did run away with the game.
