I will be there for the last home game. I am bringing my 2 kids so there should be at least 15 fans for this game.

please, as long as you are reporting about the game, insert the final score in the header.

What difference does it make to insert the score in the header? Aggies drop yet another one...even if they had lost by 1, whoopteedo! At least now we won't hear anymore that the bowl hopes are still alive. Time to turn the page and get a new head coach. Don't expect the Ags to win the final two games.

superminer remembers the sting of losing to the Aggies, again.

superminer remembers Tulsa laying 70 on his team.

superminer will cheer when the miners and Aggies meet in the Toiletbowl, where both teams will be playing.

superminer will be wishing that, like the Aggies, the miners would have a new coach for next season.

superminer will be saying, "wait until next year" like he did the year before.

You know though, the Aggies are getting better. Sure, the talks of a Bowl game this year distracted a lot, and probably proved to BE a distraction, but the Aggies aren't getting blown out. These are close games with low point spreads, or a point spread that is lower than points of of turnovers etc.

Mumme is changing his style up a bit too. He is showing a willingness to run the ball more more and more. He just needs players that can. Defense has been doing a decent job, but there is certainly room for improvement there too.

If the Aggies can clean up their mistakes and get some good recruits, they can be a competitive team in the mid-major conferences.

Please fire mumme. Or NMSU can start playing our local high school teams and maybe, just maybe have a winning season

That would be a mistake and a waste of money, becuase you could go see a better game if you and you children attended the High school playoff games.

This coach should have been fired a long time ago. NMSU and the alumni association are useless.

Well, despite your rudeness and lack of ability to spell, if you go back and look at my post you will see that I said Mumme is showing the WILLINGNESS to run the ball. He currently doesn't have the talent to do so effectively.

In order for him to be able to have a mixed offense, he needs the players to make it happen. So it comes down to what I have said time and again: recruiting, recruiting, recruiting.

Why are you people complaining. The Aggies suck. Stop complaining. The Aggies have sucked since the 1980's and you expect them to be better? Catch a clue.
Remember the chant "what the heck fire zeck". As in some coach that was around in 1983.
If anyone is still going to see the Aggies and expect them to actually _win_ I have a bridge I would like to sell you.

How much more do we have to lose, financially speaking? NMSU over pays Mumme's salary, NMSU has paid legal and settlement costs because NMSU lawyers didn't explain the 14th Amendment to Mumme, and stadium ticket sales are probably not even paying the costs to run the stadium during games and to keep it maintained. This is a reason why joining the Aggie Alumni Association is not really worth it.

To you Mumme supporters:

This is why we don't feel sorry for the guy. Look at his contract. Look at how much he makes a year. Now compare that with the salaries of professors or even staff at the university who have much more of an impact on a much greater number of students than the football team. Heck, I'll take Mumme's job for half his salary. After all, if I really, really tried, I could also show a team how not to win.
