Hows the officals in this game. How can you tell me fresno didnt commit any penalties while we committed 10. Give me a break, and the roughing the kicker penalty didn't even warrent an academy award. more like from a B movie. Despite that the Warriors showed their true spirit. Imua Hawaii

Tell me about it. I don't know who should be smacked more the kicker for that fake fall or the officials. But you gotta admit, even after he got closer he still missed. HA HA HA HA HA how sweet it is. He's no Dan Kelly.

Way to go warriors! In your face to all you haters and doubters. Don't be such fair weather fans. BELIEVE!

Fresno State is a lousy team and is now out of the top 25. They neevr belonged there. No WAC team does. They are all minor league teams as Florida reminded us in August.

You are wrong! Fresno State is a strong WAC team. If you look at Fresno's recruiting over the past five or six years, you will see that Fresno always recruits good football players. Many times the players that they recruit are far better than Boise State and Hawaii!

Last year, they were predicted to be in the Top 25 and the number one team in the WAC.

This year, they were predicted to be second only to Boise State.

This year Fresno defeated Rutgers and UCLA. Two powerhouse, usually, BCS Top 25 teams. Fresno State lost to Wisconsin, another powerhouse by only three points. So, how good do you think Fresno State is?

Sep. 1 at Rutgers W 24-7
Sep. 13 Wisconsin L 10-13
Sep. 27 at UCLA W 36-31
Oct. 4 at Fresno State W 32-29

And what do you now think of Hawaii's 32-29 win over Fresno State? And remember this is an away game!

This year Wisconsin lost to Michigan by two points and to #1 ranked Ohio State by three!

Sep. 27 at Michigan L 25-27
Oct. 4 Ohio State L 17-20

I would say that Coach MacMakin is doing a real good job at defense and has found a scheme to allow Hawaii's quarterback Funaki to play at his best!

This win changes a lot of things. Hawaii's possibilities for the rest of the season and even a Hawaii Bowl appearance at the end of the year. Stretching it a bit, even a BCS appearance is now possible!

Prior to our game against Fresno, we were being predicted by Los Vegas and other betting houses to be 3-10 for the season. Now we might be 9-4 for the season (a possible likelihood) and 10-3 at best (just dreaming).

The UH needs to get a throwing game going. Four wide receivers and recruit a top quarterback for 2009.

We are doing great on defense and if we want to play at BCS level, which many of us want. We need four wide receivers and recruit a top quarterback in 2009.

Way to go, lchow!

This year's team is exciting in a different way than last year's. This team is a work-in-progress. I LOVE how Coach Mac is adjusting the strategies and working with what we have. I see progress and results of what they work on in practice each week.

I am certainly looking forward to seeing how our team does for the rest of the season! The win against Fresno State was surprising and it took everyone by surprise. Sports announcers, coaches, and odds-makers in Las Vegas!

I, too, love how Coach MacMakin is adjusting our team in order to work with what we have. I think that he is doing a great job.

Thanks for the kind words.

Boise State will punish the warriors. Mack is way overpaid for a minor league vcoach. Get this team off my UH campus. They are not connected to the uH.

What makes a little know-it-all North Dakota trailer park girl like you supposedly paid for by a kindly elderly Japanese philanthropist think she can comment what an NCAA Division I head football coach should be making. Just how much does he make? Tell me in the most precise terms. UH Football is UH- you are the one who is not connected- you haven't an iota of Aloha in your personage. And if you are on scholarship, a significant portion of your tuition and UH expenses are covered by taxpayers. If you can't be appreciative go home and freeze your okole off in your trailer park. Enough of your negativity. Try being pleasant for a change.
