Even though the Warriors were outgunned in the passing and rushing stats it was
fortunate for the turnovers that UH capitalized on. The penalties didn't help the Warriors either. Great game. Almost like last season.

we were there!!...drove 3 hours from sacramento...all the way thought "oh well, they are gonna get smashed, but that's when true fans show up"....never knew we were gonna get rewarded with this kind of win
coach mac was all class...walked around after the game and shook hands with the few fans for UH and said "thank you for coming"
the home town refereeing was a joke

Go Bows!! Kick kAss!

Way to go guys. I have faith.

What a game.

Having said that. I think they should investigate the officiating crew because the Bows got homered by that crew. I never witnessed a more lopsided officiating in all my years of watching football.

No penalties for Fresno? Did that ever happen in the history of football? Something smells fishy here!!!

Very very questionable interference and running into the kicker calls late in the game.

Me thinks those officials were on the pad!!

Despite all that the Bows prevailed. Go Bows!

I watched the game in the bar and I could tell that most of the guys went with Fresno. I had the pleasure of rubbing it in and thoroughly enjoyed it. It got pretty quiet during the third quarter when the Bows were still leading and it was pretty evident that the dogs weren't going to make the spread. I hope that everybody who bet against the Bows lost all their money. Go Bows! You traitors should move to the mainland where you belong. Go Bows!

The most amazing stat from the game is that Fresno State did not receive even one penalty. Home cooking? After watching the Bulldogs get a second chance in overtime (and a few other calls that went against the visiting Warriors...) when their field goal kicker realized he had been (barely) touched by a Hawaii defender who was already on the ground, and then collapsed in a heap to draw the laughable "roughing the kicker" penalty, we'd have say most definitely there was some home cooking going on in Fresno Saturday. But this time around, it was the Bulldogs who choked on their own fare...

Despite the obvious bad calls, Coach McMackin held his cool throughout. This time, the good guys won -- overcoming all the odds.

What a great victory over Fresno in Fresno! With all the penalties the warriors received, they still came thru with a huge victory! The defense came up big this time and Dan Kelly is just one of many hero's! The coaching staff did a great job of coaching this time and the kids respomded! A win like this will bring the team even closer together and most likely will become bowl eligible! Warriors, "YOU ROCK!"

you missed a critical stat that is still a concern with the wac officiating...penalties, hawaii 10, fresno st 0.
jim blackman is the head wac official and evaluates each game. white hat land clark was clearly mistaken on the overtime incidental(questionable) contact with the kicker.
would sure hope they bring in a crew that can see and call the plays on both sides this week against la tech.
just one more thing about the football fever picks ie for fresno...kekaula, curran, akana, lanai, reardon, & arnett..jump back on the warrior wagon or get a better crystal ball. go warriors!
p.s. sports animals, you rock!

Great win for the Warriors. Let's hope that they will use this victory as a stepping stone and momentum builder for the up coming games. This is a big time confidense builder!

So how many more games does UH have to win to get into the Hawaii Bowl? That's the best option the Waariors have this year. The Warriors still commit too many penalties. Sugar Bowl showed that UH fans don't travel well, either.

Hey, UH is just a flop, lucky to get pass Fresno because of mistakes! You're just a fool, thinking UH is some kind of savior from WAC, the bottom of the heap pile.

As Alice will probably say, go drink your sorrows down the loser lane, one win that was handed to UH does not make at a winner, still have more games to go. Handouts don't count, so go back to the bathroom and wipe your rear end, that bar stool you've been sitting at, sure stinks.

Alice, when are you going to say a few comments and please "rub it in"?

Let's be good winners and good losers...sheeeesh. These are college boys, not the pros. It is bad to even boo them in Aloha Stadium.

Coach Mac IS a class act and I'll take him over any Bowl game.5374
