Was it just me, or did it look like the Fresno QB, Brandstater look like he was on the take?

He threw 3 INT's and 0 TD's and had a fumble for a turnover. After his 3rd INT in the 2nd half, the coaches took the ball out of his hands and went almost exclusively to the run.

It was a very suspcicious performance by him.

If you are going to infer anything of that nature then I suggest you look to the officials, not that I am implying that they threw the game--simply incompetent at best & makes me wonder how they can officiate in D1 college football. The pass interference call against UH in the 4th quarter was questionable & official was out of position to make the call. Even more egregious was the running into the kicker penalty in OT that instant replay showed no contact at all--not even close. No contact that is, except from the rushing wind of the player who tried to block the kick!!

Auspicious One says-Quarterback win big money for me. Quarterback win big money too. Even the crooked referee could not prevent UH from winning.
Maybe kicker was in it too?
The player fell on the kicker after he was tackled on the ground and rolled over. That was a desperate call. And no one either bothered to contest it?

Enoki and Kelley did the job to record the necessary points to win, but the DEFENSE played an excellent, hard nosed football to ensure the BIG WIN. No personal fouls in this game should be credited to Coach McMackin for him disciplining the team. Fresno played a good game, and the 6 turnovers are not Fresno's mistakes, but rather the hard hitting, UH DEFENSE should be credited for causing those 6 turnovers. A team with DISCIPLINE is hard to beat. Most of the football players will not be going to professional careers, but all of them will continue their lives and the most precious thing that they learned from playing football for Coach McMackin was DISCIPLINE.

Auspicious One says-UH was not able to capitalize for 3 more touchdowns after the turnovers. Fresno players tried to give UH the game but still incompetent to take over. Kicker had to miss 2 times before UH finally can score point. NCAA will probably investigate Fresno for possible game fixing. NCAA can expect this kind of turnover play from UH either playing at home or away. But for Fresno to lose at home like this after beating UCLA and playing other teams better than UH is suspect. Auspicious One was just lucky last nite for having faith in UH?

Auspicious id10t...who won the game despite a paid off referee? Clearly the Warriors were playing against Fresno and the crooked zebras. I couldn't believe those calls were real. How many penalties on Fresno...ZERO. But two flat out calls against UH that didn't exist...UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!

This was a game for the gamblers to make money and that is the sad part of sport contests. No money if you picked Fresno to win because they were heavily favored. Pick UH with 1-3 record and you make money by defying the odds. From the gamblers point of view we will make sure Fresno will lose and let Hawaii play its normal game. Outcome, UH wins, gamblers win and a whole bunch of Fresno backers are crying foul.

The referees that called two blatant penalties against UH were on the other side of the gambling table but they finally lost.

I don't believe in any way the team fixed the game...but I am convinced that the refs were paid off in some way. Awful officiating, bad calls. I would have been livid is I was Coach Mac.

WTF?
How come the only one giving the UH Defense any credit is the Fresno Coach?
Come on gang...including the press...the defense had at least the same if not the biggest part in winning the game. Give credit where credit is due.

Cuz it sounds better if you say "their defense was good" vs. "we handed the ball over to them".

But in any case, the defense was awesome and really won the game for us. Those turnovers, PLUS not allowing 6 touchdowns (FS field goal attempts).

Auspicious One says-UH defense definitely looked good and did not have any opportunity to commit fouls because the Fresno offensive line just caved in. This was a stark contrast to the UCLA game they played. The Fresno O practically gave the ball to UH and UH still could not score 3 more touchdowns.
It seems like the UH offensive line was too tired of coming back in so soon after so many turnovers.
Seems like some one didnt want the game to go past the point spread or UH is still in bad shape.

How can you say that the UH looked good when they gave up 500+ yards of total offense to Fresno?

1 Special Teams TD and 2 Offensive TD's on a short field is nothing exciting. UH could do nothing else effectively on offense.

The D gave up 500+ yards of offense including almost 300 yards on the ground and you give them credit for winning this game? I don't get that.

UH has won me WAAAAAY more $$$$ this season than this it has lost me on this one game. Just check their record against the spread.

I will continue to bet against them te rest of this season and continue to make truckloads of $$$$ while you struggle to make your mortgage payments in that overvalued piece of crud cookie cutter house in Mililani. LOL!
