"Off season conditioning has a direct correlation to the success of the team" per se June Jones. "He took a s..t team and made them better" was said on the radio. "Riley turns ok players, into good players, turns good players, into excellent players". "Made chicken salad from chicken s..t" on a newspaper sports section. This years recruits look "same, same" from the movie Karate Kid.

Let's see what J. W. brings in, he's the chief recruiter. Then again he has only two scholies to offer. If JW doesn't come through again with miracles; maybe, Nash is gone!

What'd you think?

Well the off-season conditioning didn't have a direct correlation to the success of the team. Nash took a s... team and them not much better. Nash took ok players and turned them into ok players.

I don't know exactly what UH basketball players do on the off-season. Maybe, hang out at the mall, spock chicks at the student center or play TV video games. One thing for sure! They don't do a lot of chin-ups or bench presses!

You and so many others conveniently gloss over the fact that we lost 2 to 3 significant players to WAC schools if they had appointed Bob Nash as coach even 2-3 weeks earlier. There's nothing wrong with his vision or ability as a coach. Unless you're totally myopic, you should realize that a lot depends on recruiting talent. If you don't think that this team will be better record-wise than you are short-sighted in addition to being just plain stupid. Nani in Anaheim(?); you said it was painful to watch..did you watch any of the thrilling WINS this year?? Those weren't painful at all to watch for me. Next year, this team will be a team to be reckoned with as they will have had a yearmore of the system under their belt & Thompson & Adams are still finding their legs. If Rod Flemings can shake the nagging injuries, they're going to be scarily good. It'll be interesting to see who they'll pick up with the last 2 scholarships. If they pick up another true point guard and a big, mobile post player, we'll be in business. All of you who are clamoring for a new head coach, just chill for awhile...If they are not significantly better next year, I'll apologize on this blog. I'm not cowardly like some naysayers who just like to take potshots and then fade away when they're proven wrong. It seems that the 6 or 7 commenters (before me) today seem to be the pessimists of the bunch. Just wait & see.
WE don't have the luxury to wait and see another dismal season. Face the facts!!!
