Fringe Five finished over 500 this weekend, but it doesn’t look good for Kansas and Frat Bastard Charley Weis who lost 23-30 to NIU in DeKalb, Illinois. Skip Holtz proved again he’s the Black Sheep of the Notre Dame family by losing 27-31 at Ball State. Urban Turban beat another weak opponent. Latest victim UAB lost by only 14 points. Last but not least the second smartest person on the planet Bob Davie and his New Mexico squad beat arch rival New Mexico State 27-14. So far the Fringe Five has a collective record of 13 wins, 7 losses this season. Oh by the way, Charley Weis is the smartest man on the planet.
