ANSWER: The annual, overrated USC loss that knocks them out of the BCS National Championship Poll. It's as reliable as time itself!

Oh please, the BCS awards the Championship now and USC still claims championships even when other teams have been given the trophy. Haha, last time USC won a real title people were listening to Steve Miller on 8TRAC cassettes in their El Caminos. Bwahahahah
Great slam mister groovy, but did they actually still have 8TRAC's in 2005?

Meh, it sure beats what we had before, now doesn't it? You want to switch from 2 to 4 teams but you will still run into the same wall. there's always going to be some team that feels left out.
Either way, I can't find much fault with the BCS because I remember what we had before. At least we get a 1-2 matchup. Now if only we can agree on who 1-2 is every year. Change it to 1-2-3-4 and we will still be fighting over who the top 4 really are. Same shit different day.
I think from what I am hearing on the subject is that the 4 team playoff system will open up the potential for more interconference showdowns.

The way it is now, a good team could slide past just their own conference opponents, get ranked to play in one national title game without ever having to play outside of their conference.

I think I approve of the 4 team system my friend and different smelling shiit ;)

Hee hee, that's a good one Mister Really. But I believe that is QB Mark Sanchez who was playing out of position in that wildcat offense scheme thing.

I guess I shouldn't laugh too much as that guy did anything but flinch against my Bruins when he was at USC :(

Now that is really mean Nation :(

Here I am trying to be a cordial Bruin, love everybody just like you do (although you do get a little too cozy with Trojans), and then you have to go off and call me a troll :/

I thought you and I had the true essense of being a Bruin down to a loveable science, but instead you are showing anger issues that are even more vocal than Lifer and Brewski :(

I think we all just need one big powder blue Bruin hug (hot tub optional) ;)

Really Mister Traveler, you don't have to feel sorry fo us Bruins and fabricate nice things to say just to keep us from our past depression.

Besids, we are really playing over our heads right now, and I am hoping we don't realize it until the end of the season.

Go Bruins, let's eat some Beaver!

I would not say overrated USC team as much as I would say underrated Pac-12 opponent. But he would never admit to that. I know that all conferences have to address the little guy getting worked up and playing over their head against the conference powerhouses, but sometimes our pac-12 opponents eat, sleep, and breathe just to try to beat the Trojans. It might be because for so many years we have dominated our conference and that distaste by the others still remain, even though many have vastly improved their programs. Oregon and Stanford were at one time a doormats in our conference...Not anymore! LOL It would be kind of like if Illinois all of a sudden became relevant every year back there

Which has happened from time to time. Something interesting is that historically Illinois has a closer record in the rivalry with OSU than Wisconsin does. I bet a lot of people wouldn't know that. I totally understand the target on the back, it makes their entire year.
