Try recruiting with Alabama, Auburn, Tenn, GT, Florida St, SC and Clemson all within a couple hundred miles around you and we still are third right now with 15 commitments and also 9 SEC schools ahead of USC right now and yes Vandy will finish ahead of you guys.

I know you guys can get it done, The Vandy thing was a joke to get CT crying. I really think USC has a good season imo with little let down from the probation. If we can keep our guys out of jail I think we have a shot at a good season ourselfs.

Not crying at all when I see four Trojan commits in the 2013 ESPN Top 100 players:

2013 ESPN Top 100
10)Kenny Bigelow DT
13)Max Browne QB
69)Chris Hawkins CB
90)Kylie Fitts DE

Agreed that is tough! But please show us some respect and call them South Carolina, or the Gamecocks...or just the Cocks for short (or short Cocks if you like)!

WE ARE SC, AS IN USC TROJANS, ALWAYS HAVE BEEN, ALWAYS WILL BE!

CT we call South Carolina out here on the east coast SC and have always called you guys USC, Truth is I would never call South Carolina USC because of the respect. How was that.

That works, thanks! I would certainly receive a different reply from LSU hacks like Death Valley and Deco Man...

I don't think UK is done wreaking havoc in College Basketball. As much as I hate to say it, Calipari has a great class coming in just as he had leaving.

I wasn't trying to say that Kentucky was "one & done." Just that the players were. The NBA has created this environment where the college teams have to warehouse a player for a year before they take off to the NBA. So now college teams can't even try to develop talent and create team cohesiveness because you get 1 maybe 2 years with certain guys. It's tough to follow a team when they have all brand-new guys every year.

Well, you can scratch Fitts off that list.

Those defensive guys aren't the sharpest tools in the shed. This is what he said about his decision: "It 'literally' broke my heart."

Really? I wonder if he was taken to the hospital? I wonder if he's been released?

Yet another dumb jock.

Let's not go all sour grapes on Fitts just yet. Word is that he was expecting to enroll early, and recently received word that there is no room at the inn at this time, come back in June. This is a combination of McQuay committing, Robey not declaring, and the scholarship sanctions. Now, there is still a possibility he could enroll early. If Bigelow decides to enroll in June instead of now, then Fitts would be able to enroll early. Or, if Robey decides to declare for the draft, then Fitts could enroll early. But it's all about the 75 scholarship limit.

I laugh at everyone who uses the word "literally". The ONLY time it should be used, is when a phrase that is usually used figuratively is being used literally. But people use it now as if its use lends some sort of credibility to what they are saying.

Many also use it incorrectly, as Fitts did. If this had been Haden, Barkley or anyone else, I'd still be laughing about it. Sam Rubin, the idiotic entertainment reporter on channel 5 morning news uses it all the time, as do the Kardashian bimbos.

So contrary to what you thought, it has nothing to do with sour grapes.

Yes. But he claims he's still considering USC. I loved what one ESPN poster wrote:

"Wait, so he decommmits because of a lack of trust on something that happened, but then includes USC as one of the schools he'll still consider? I'm confused. This article makes it sound like USC upset him and he wants them to prove their love and keep courting him."

Bottom line...a lot of these little shits want schools to kiss their asses. As far as I'm concerned, he can take his sorry ass elsewhere. We do need studs on defense badly. But we don't need primadonnas.

I don't get your hostility here. From everything I've read, Fitts has a reason to be a little upset. He's been a "rah-rah" Trojan commit for over a year now. He worked his butt off to graduate early, to forgo all those experiences of a high school senior in his last semester, and started making preparations to start up at USC in the spring, only to be told to stay home, come back in the summer. This is unfortunate and he probably feels a little betrayed. He's 18 y/o, I don't expect him to handle this with the maturity of a 40 y/o. He doesn't know about the "business" of college football.

The last I read was Abe Markowitz failed to submit a final correctly (he emailed it rather than submit a hard copy) and thus failed a class and thus did not graduate as was expected in December. So he's going to occupy the scholarship for one more semester, putting USC right at the 75 scholarship limit. McQuay committing was another factor. With USC losing its top three safeties (McDonald, Starling, McAllister), the coaching staff want McQuay and Sua'Cravens in as early as possible so they can learn the system. Unfortunately, Fitts faces a logjam at DE with Williams, Breslin, and Kennard ahead of him. Thus, it makes "sense" to have Fitts delay his enrollment, but I understand why he feels betrayed.
