I'm glad the Magic didn't cave in to Riley's consideration demands. Draft picks are gold, and players, not coaches, win games. The Magic need the draft picks worse than they need Van Gundy. Neeeeext.

I just wish bizzy donovan could pay for all the mess he has caused. We should get a few Orlando Magic tow trucks, drive them to Gainesiville, repo all of his luxury cars, and trade them in so we can pay back all the gator faithful that wasted their money on season tickets, JUST BECAUSE OF SARGEANT BUZZCUT! THIS IS A ROBBERY!! YOU OWE US BILLY!! I BET MRS. DONOVAN WAS REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THOSE DAILY SHOPPING SPREES AT MILLENIA MALL... too bad...

THERE ARE A LOT OF POTENTIAL GOOD COACHES, WHAT WE NEED ARE A STRONG CENTER AND A TALL PLAYMAKER. CONCENTRATE ON SUBSTANCE AND FORGET BILLY.

Now that we've officially lost Van Gundy, can we please have Otis Smith's head on a friggin' platter for the horrible manner in which he has conducted this entire affair, from Hill's firing forward? This bum simply has to go...he obviously is in over his head at least as far as that Munster fella from Gainesville was....
Problem is ownership and Bob V. the Pres....get rid of him, otis and the whole bunch. Clean out the house! But of course, Bob will not lose his job because he married the owner's daughter!

Owesome, This can get any worst, Pat Riley screwed Van Gundy before and Ups He did it again, What a class act, When he decided to let go Van Gundy as a coach after he did the tough work for the Heat taking over the team in a extremely good situation, now Van Gundy is not getting his 1st choice team because o Riley, Tells a lot from a guy like Riley, Wake up Pat, you are not going to win anymore with the Nursing Home Heat begining with Him, Shak, Antoine, Alonzo, Payton, If you add the ages you get close to a milenium. Thanks for nothing Pat, We will see you in the playoffs, if the heat dont retire to take social secuity benefits first.

Billy Donovan is probably home with mommy right now while the Magic and the rest of the men try to sort out the boys mess for breaking his word and showing no charactor.

This situation was not created by the Magic. They signed the best coach for the job, however that coach has decided to rescind on his agreement/contract. Unfortunately, this has created a snowball effect. The Magic should really consider enforcing their contract. If he tanks games, provide inadequate game preparation, and fails in improving the team, then it will show his true character. His indecisiveness has provided a brief glimpse, but swallowing this poison-pill will really test his character and future employment opportunities.

Stan Van Gundy was a better qualified coach than Billy Donovan in the first place. Had the Magic done the right thing in the first place, which was offer the job to Van Gundy they wouldn't have been in this predicament. They deserve everything that is coming to them now.

Otis Smith's head on a platter sounds about right. This mess goes back to his very bad decision to fire Grant Hill. Of course, I have no objection to the Magic moving to Albuquerque. In fact . . .

Rick Carlisle would never come and coach this team. Put the crack pipe down.
