Whatever. Go ahead and kick us while we're down. However, we'll see who gets the last laugh. Give us 2 years and we'll be back to destroying the Gators.

The latest installment in your 'I Hate Everything About Kentucky' series proves once again just how bush league you really are. It's ironic you were talking about UK's fan message board, because a message board — or a college newspaper — is where one would expect to find such immature work. You might have mentioned that the record 16,000 fans who logged on to one of several sites devoted to UK basketball represents 4,000 more fans than Florida's rarely sold out arena even holds. This is just one of many reasons why UK basketball stands among the truly elite programs. Many Kentucky fans, myself included, are thrilled Billy Donovan didn't want the job. We were afraid if we got Donovan, Florida would be free to hire Billy Gillespie and continue the domination of the last two seasons. Thank goodness it didn't happen. If the Wildcats are as "down" as you seem to think, why do you continue to write about them with such emotion?

It's attitudes like yours that makes other coaches not want to go to coach your precious uk

We are not concerned. KY will hang 3 more coaches before you hang another championship banner.
Go Gators

If I hear 1 more Kentucky fan use the word "tradition" 1 more time, I'll kill myself from LAUGHING so hard!! The 21st century will be all about Gator domination in both football and basketball. The Cats will still be playing in an old crumbling off-campus gym (but it holds 24,000 fans!), and UF will have its plush, beautiful "BillyDome" . By 2030 when Billy decides to retire, Kentucky will still have more SEC titles overall, and they will still probably have won more games overall. But it will be grandparents talking to their grandchildren about the glory days of Big Blue basketball ("...when I was a kid...the Wildcats were part of March Madness every year..."). And with Patterson AND Lucas coming next year along with the #7 recruiting class (these two will make us the top recruiting class), the Gators will hardly miss a beat! Oh- what is Kentucky's incoming class ranked at? I couldn't find it in the top 30. And I thought tradition helps in recruiting! Go Gators!!!

You are so full of shit. What do you know about KY fans? Habe you ever been to Rupp or have you ever been to Lexington? Now that your group of juniors are gone, Florida can slip back into mediocrity!

Where did all the UK fans go??? They were so sure Billy would bolt because of 'tradition'... and now they have gone silent. Ouch - reality hurts.

Wrong! We will have an off year next season. Where you MIGHT have a chance of breaking your 6 game losing streak to the Gators. With all the talent we have and more on the way the Gators will be right back where they are now in 2 years! Better get it done next season, but I doubt it!

Would be nice to see the Bucks beat the Gators...but as reality shows...Gators are to strong. I'm still shocked the Noles gave em a good game in FB and beat em in BB. But it goes to show you can't sleep on anybody.

Right you are fish. UK might have a chance - assuming their new coach doesn't get arrested again next year.
