Thanks for the apology. Now I ask you to do two things. Help recruit the people that have blasted the magic, blaming them for all of this mess. Second, talk to young people what one should do in life concerning honoring their word and committments. A lot of young people have came out of this with the idea that a committment and the word of honor means nothing. As anyone goes thru life his word should as honorable as his signature and should always try to achieve the highest integrityin one self. Please, do this for the young people for they look at you as an idol and example. thanks

Way to go Billy Donovan, Nice job honoring the Contract you signed with your own free will with the Orlando Magic. Nothing like being consistent with your actions let alone your word which now it basically "DIRT" IMO.

This reminds me of Paris Hilton telling the press she wants to make the world a better place after she gets out of the pokey. Billy Boy ... you sir have lost all credibility and any respect I had for you.

Donovan, you are an unprofessional, horrible example to the young people who look up to you. Way to turn your back on a legal committment! What goes around, comes around Billy Boy!! Good luck looking at yourself in the mirror everyday.

How much do you want to bet when all the dust settles, Billy's going to be making the same $ in G-ville that he was going to make in Orlando? Family, school, educating young people, blah, blah ,blah. Nobody walks away from $10 mill difference between Gators and Magic. They'll figure out a way to get it to him.

Typical Gator rhetoric.

How is Billy educating young people???

I know of 4 juniors that left school without a college degree.

If Billy had any balls, he would have a real press conference like he is in Gainesville today.

Just hope no one gets injured from all the rednecks firing their guns in the air today as they "celebrate"

Give me a break. Don't tell me that none of you have ever had a change of heart about a huge decision that affects your life and your family's life. Yes, there are ramifications involved here. There are also attorneys to sort out the legal garbage and clean up the contract mess. Would you really want someone coaching the Magic whose heart isn't into it? The Magic ownership sure didn't. Better to know now than later. Move on, would ya.

No it's called Mrs Donovan was going to divorce him if he followed through with it. And after the fact he probably decided that he liked being married more and living in gainsville than Coaching the Orlando Magic and being alone because she has him by the balls LOL!

By the way, how much money do you really need to be satisfied?
