that is a pretty good list of players but i feel otis should also invite nathan jawai. chad ford has compared him to elton brand(this is the most recent comparison), nbadraft.net compared him to charles oakley and draftexpress compared him to erick dampier. chad ford also said jawai has slimmed down and is expecting to lose 15 more lbs. without sacrificing his strength.

other notes: averaged 18 points, 10 rebounds in 30 minutes 2006-07.

Man, if you can get DJ White, he is every thing an NBA team could want. With DJ you start with his upbringing and his family, which are absolutely first rate. He is the consumate team player, and has been very good from about 14 feet in in terms of offense. His rebounding is excellent, he get's off the floor quickly, and he is the kind of kid that teammates will love to play with. He wants to win, and he is the best example I can think of in college who believes that "there is no I in the word TEAM".

I agree with Hoosier Al. DJ White was by far the MVP of Indiana last season, a team that includes lottery pick Eric Gordon (why he is a lottery pick is a mystery to me).

give gordon a break he lost his coach and shortly after injures his wrist and still played every game of the season and he still managed to average 20 points a game and 10 fta per game on an 80% clip. not that i am trying to belittle what dj white did for that team because he was amazing. i am just worried that his defense will limit his potential to a leon powe type player or even worse wayne symien(although that is not likely). i would prefer someoone who wouldn't need any plays run for him to be effective(we have dwight for that and sometimes tony). i would prefer joey dorsey over dj white and even dj white. would you want someone like leon powe or ben wallace with dwight. just my thoughts.

with the effort we saw from Gortat and Battie coming back, and possibly Vasquez, i would rather see Rush, a true 2-guard with size that can help off-set when we play with nelson.

Now is not the time for the Magic to be picking project players or guys who may develop into something. They need to make a wise pick.

IMO, Speights lacks the hustle and toughness for a player his size compared to Chris Richards, Joakim Noah, Al Horford, and Udonis Haslem.

why do you care about posting about them at all if you don't even care. and will everyone drop the tragic they are a really good team. they won the southeast division with 52 wins, 8th best record in the league, they made it to the second round of the playoffs. you can't call a team that has dwight howard at center and are the 8 th best team in the league that are rapidly improving.

first off we don't have enough money to sign him andsecond he would stunt dwights development. even if we did a sign and trade deal to get him we would have to give up too much anyway espicially for someone who has never won a championship with his talent. he is also getting too old and is losing his quickness.

If the Magic Pick a PF in the first round Preferably Speights or Dorsey even White. Then We should go after Jamont Gordon in the second round, Lester Hudson. Trade Arroyo to the knicks for David lee. Also the most important move of all is getting Corey Magette. Turk at PG, Magette SG, PF(Speights/ Dorsey / Lee) Lewis and Cook at SF and Superman. Battie back up Dwight. Nelson Back up Turk. Reddick back up Magette.

we should go for Andre miller from the Sixers. They would trade for young talent and we would shore up the p.g. position.

A few years ago I might have welcomed this, but not now!. Apart from the fact he is trouble, he is not as quick as he used to be especially with the young un's coming up. I say give him a miss.

Whatever they do, I hope they don't trade J.J. Redick for a low draft pick. Multiple second round picks? Yes ! But they shouldn't reach.

Someone mentioned Nathan Jawai above, i totally agree. Otis should take a good look at this guy. If his foot speed and lateral quickness are better than Adonal Foyle he would be my pick. I'm also in Love with Love, as a basketball player. Specifically is passing and basketball IQ.

you still have to look at the team as a hole and with this lineup our turnovers would sky rocket both jamont gordon and lester hudson averaged 4 turnovers a game in college and both turk and dwight have 3+ turnovers a game. our team assist to turnover ratio would linger around 1:1 when teams like boston and the pistons average around 2:1. if a team with good defense played us we would be absolutely destroyed. i also don't like marressse seights becuase he seems terribly similar to juwan howard. but corey maggette would complement dwight and rashard becuase he drives to the lane lewis shoots 3's and his free throws help(haverages 10 fta per game on an 80% clip) negate dwights and turns freethrows into a srength. whatever otis does choose to do i will try to look at the positives, respect his desicion, and be a proud magic fan.go magic!!!!!!!!!!
