The writter of this article must have never attended a Florida home game in Gainesville. Dick Vital said the O'dome is one of the best home venues in the country when it comes to fans, an average home game attracts about 12-15,000 people.

Holding the tournament in your "backyard" does not heighten interest. Winning does that. Just look what's happened 2-1/2 hours up the road in Gainesville.

I grew up in S. Florida and followed professional sports and UM football and baseball. Living in Tobacco Road the college atmosphere is contagious and alot of fun. This town is practically shut down for the next few days while the ACC Tournament takes place. I'm meeting colleages at the local sports bar where I'm sure it will be crowded. S. Florida does not have that kind of atmosphere.

Try to go over .500, and then maybe the fans will show up. Look at the Heat. They're the League Champions, and they can't fill up the AAA.

Frank, recruit players with talent and interest will increase, attendence will go up. Your team has no talent.

Thats the only sport in town in North Carolina! They don't have anything else to look forward to. Plenty of Gator sports bars in S. Fla. will be packed tomorrow night! GO GATORS!!!
