Thank you Mike for this wonderful article. Remember, the Buzzards are flying around Tallahassee and the athletic department has the smell of Death all over it!

All you FSU fans better be wearing your mickey mouse ponchos when this NOA and all of the allegations hits the fan, because that mess is going to spray EVERYWHERE. I'm sure your venerable old coach would have a comment or two about the situation, but he's taking a nap right now. In other news, say goodbye to any semblance of a good 2009 recruiting class.

The tack my University has taken thus far is shameful. The tutor is "unvavailable" for comment, Minnix and Hart are suddenly gone, the players who supposedly did nothing wrong are suddenly unable to play.

Shame on TKW.

Did ANYONE expect anything better from Florida State? It's a blessing they haven't put a version of Oceola infront of every administration building to defer the public's eye.

Not even considering ANY of the allegations, but the way this has been handled from beginning to finish speaks volumes about the problems at the PUBLIC university.

There are two ways to get the info...1. Is to file a lawsuit. When the Sentinel prevails it will recoup its attorney fees. Quit begging and get aggressive. Why the restraint? Is the paper afraid of f$u?
It is also a criminal violation to refuse to release the records. File a complaint with the State Attorney's office.

I insist that this shameful university is shut down immediately! It is a blight on the great state of Florida, and, indeed, on the United States of America!

Mike, I'm glad to see the media is taking notice of this and putting it out there. FSU is being dishonest with its supporters and, more importantly, its recruits by not having this informations out there. Maybe it is nothing. Maybe it is "old news." But the appearance is that the NCAA is extremely dissatisified with FSU's self-imposed punishment, that they are coming after the university for not the cheating -- which is "old news" -- but for the lack of institutional control that caused it and the institutional coverup that followed it, and that it could severely affect scholarships and even post-season play for the next couple of years. It's one thing to tell recruits "You're the best, babe, and you'll be starting right away" or "That 'other coach' will be off to the NFL after next season and wouldn't have used you in his offense like me." But when a recruit, like E.J. Manuel, is straight up told this scandal is "old news" and won't affect him or his future, and then he falls for it, well, shame on FSU. Because it will. The recruits have an absolute right to see what's in that NOA before deciding tie themselves to a sinking rock.

Is anyone in Orlando really interested in FSU? Please stick to the Gators, UCF, and the SEC.

Yup... If you have a problem with it, read elsewhere. And why is it that a UF fan wrote this article? It'd be great if Bianchi didn't care about FSU, much like yourself, Marcus... you have a choice whether to read it or not. Hypocrit...

Its about time someone pointed this out in print media. It obviously wasn't going to come from the Tallahassee Democrat.

UCF is not in the SEC. I'm not sure UCF has a football team? I know they have an albino from NEW JERSEY as a coach of something.

Thanks Mike for finally putting this out there for everyone to see. What is going on in Tallahassee is shameful and corrupt. But, that's what you get when you hire a politician as President.
Remember Clown fans it's not the lie that gets you, it's the coverup.

They "cheated" on an open book online class. WHO CARES.

If you want to stop "cheating" then every university in the nation should stop offering online classes because everyone enrolled in them is "cheating" by getting help from friends.

THAT'S WHY YOU TAKE AN ONLINE CLASS.

When will FSU fans realize that TK Wetherell will do whatever it takes to cover up for his coach. There is no way he can be objective when it comes to Bowden because he has already acknowledged his extreme love for the coach. It will only hurt FSU in the long run (which is fine with me).
