The message this ad attempts to exalt, is dangerous to women and ridiculously anti-choice. To scare people with the idea that their unborn baby may become the next football star, so you better not abort it, even though it could end you life to have it, is irresponsible ans sneaky. It's wonderful that his mother was able to carry him to term and that he grew up to be a star. But at the same time she is telling women to ignore the medical advise of their doctors and continue on with dangerous pregnancies that kill them. She was on a missionary trip in the Philippines with limited medical access, poor sanitation and diseases all over; her pregnancy was highly dangerous and she very well could have lost her life; leaving her three other children without a mother. The decision she made, while it turned out fine, was the most irresponsible one she could have at that moment and it's dangerous to think that in another, similar situation things will turn out just as wonderful.

The ad also under minds itself in that this woman made the choice not to abort; something prochoice people support, while the people who backed it with their "generous" money, don't want to allow. Focus on the family is about getting rid of the right to make a choice about your health and body and instead support the forced birth giving. The don't believe woman should have the responsibility or right to choose whether to terminate a pregnancy or not and in affect would have limited tim's mother to just one option: have it, even if you die. She wouldn't even be able to have an ad celebrating her good nature and choice to have the child, because there would be no other way.

Seems to me the extremists are the "pro-choice" folks. Those are the ones I'm afraid of...

According to news reports, all of this opposition comes from people who have not even seen the ad. Reportedly the ad is a positive message from Tebow on honoring his mother for saying no to abortion. America needs more positive messages these days, not fearmongering from a group of extremists.

I'm glad the ad is running. This will help expose those people who want to shutdown anyone who thinks different from them.

Yes the pro-choicers are the extremists because they're the ones blowing up planned parenting clinics and murdering doctors?

Liberal media types are at it once again. What in the hell is the new phrase "anti-choice" they are spouting? It went from "pro-life" to "anti-abortion" and now to this idiotic term.

While I am very liberal on some issues, the murder of an innocent, unborn being is NOT one of them. I celebrate any time a warrior for the cause bombs an abortion clinic or kills a murderous abortion provider because it is justifiable homicide.

Ok, you libtards, start trying to attack me before you get your loose bowels in an uproar.

It's not murder if it's legal. See definition of murder.

If you believe that women should not be able to make the choice not to abort, and instead believe they should all be forced to carry to term every pregnancy, you are anti-choice. It's quite simple.

"Children" that may or may not have been born at all. Children that may have died in child birth, killed their mothers in being born, been born without basic functions, been born just to die hours later, or live short and painful lives. Children that would not have homes right now, maybe not even families to care for them. Children that would grown up knowing they were not wanted. Children that may have starved due to lack of resources, been abused by the parents that didn't want them, been shoved around from foster home to foster home, etc.

All because you feel they must be forced to come into this world, without thinking through how they will survive in it.

All because the choice is nothing more than a form of birth control. Fewer than 1% of abortions performed are because of rape or incest.

Let's be perfectly honest American women simply like the "choice" of being sluts without consequences.

Got statistics on how many American children have starved to death in the last 40 years?

Proof that women want to be "sluts" (and what about men?)

Women make the choice to abort for hundreds of reasons.
Not able to care for the child, no money for the birth, no money for raising it, not able to take of work to have it (too poor), would interfere with their education, damage to their bodies, too young, damage to their psychological state, cannot raise a child alone, already has too many children, moral reasons (don't believe in having a child rot in foster care or don't believe in filling this world with more unwanted children), emotional reasons (could not give it up), having the child could endanger her life or it's, the child would be born too sick to function (without a brain for example), etc.

Why are you afraid to be honest? It's simply a matter of wanting to have sex and not having to deal with the consequences. It's nothing more than birth control and at the same time killing a life.

Again, less than 1% of abortions are performed for rape or incest.

Your obviously on the side of killing unborn children or you wouldn't have posted what you did in post #7.

My side is for life, yours is death.
