Will Press Telegram reporter John Canalis be Josh Lowenthal's campaign manager? Political dynasties are dangerous to democracy.

If he is anything like his father and mother he would be a great asset to any office he decides to go for. This city is more than ready for another Camelot!

Danny Wilcox - Of course you support the Lowenthals...What else would we expect from a progressive hippie activist from the 1960's? Problem is, it is the last thing the children of LBUSD need, being used to further a political agenda. Voters have had enough and are weary of the Lowenthals throwing their weight around to get elected to higher office via the LBUSD Board of Education!

By the way, who will be picking up the tab for the Lowenthal special election (mommy, daddy, brother, sister-in-law or the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce)? Don't expect taxpayers to pay for the Lowenthals' political posturing.

Whatever you have to say today, you'll do it with charm and grace. This is just what you need if you've got to have a quiet word in someone's ear without offending them forever or putting your foot in it. You'll be amazed by what you can say now, provided you take things slowly and do your best to consider the other person's feelings.
