Why is MSM in the Northeastern Conference? Isn't Maryland below the Mason Dixon line?

Just another example of how the sport of basketball has used & abused the Baltimore market. Thank you very little, NCAA Tournament Committee.

Sad when the UMD flagship school is in the NIT while all the other lesser schools are in the NCAA tourney..yet MD still beat UNC.

The 'Town is going down! These Retrievers have a bite that is much worse than the bark of a Hoya! If we can press them into some turnovers and shoot close to what we did agains Hartford, it can happen! It's not likely, but this is March Madness and 2-15 upset happens more than you think. GO RETRIEVERS!

It's OK. The Mount gets to play another game and graciously they will accept and try their best to compete and win. I will bet if the committee called Coach Brown he would have understood and happily accepted. Call it the Mount's contribution to affirmative action. Carry on; let acceptance breed caring concern for all our brothers.

Why couldn't the NCAA at least have scheduled these 2 MD teams to play the game somewhere in, say, MD,(like College Park), where it would be well attended by the students and alums of both schools?

That's funny, because it IS hidden! Your previous scrofulous remark has disappeared fr/ this board. Jeez, how'd that happen? Thanks for this display of your bravery + logic.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Scorpio

There are problems concerning money today, especially if someone thinks they aren't getting their fair share of it. Mars turns retrograde in your house of public matters, so issues from the pat will need to be dealt with in weeks to come. Sort things out quickly, before they become even more fraught.
