Montgomery continues to provide spark

A win is a win, but UConn took its sweet time to get its legs under them and take charge of the game. Against a young LSU team that should have been an easier win, UConn looked a bit unsteady, had cold shooting day, and was terrible from the foul line. UConn will not survive in the winning column against tougher and more experienced teams if they play like they did today. Hopefully, today's flat play will be a wake up call. I'm sure Geno will bring it to the team's attention. Everybody will in gunning for the Huskies, let's hope they don't look beyond some of the teams coming up towards North Carolina or they could get knocked off. I don't know enough about the University of South Florida's competition, but their win-loss record looks mighty good, as does several of the teams coming at the Huskies. The Huskies will need in the groove preformances from all five starters for several games in the long slog towards the Final Four. Meanwhile what about that Vols comeback to beat Rutgers? Does anyone have a wooden stake handy? Like Summitt....no! Respect her, I admit I do. C. Vivian Stringer (who I also like when she's not playing UConn) must be apopletic.
