actually there is something a coach can do about an over-anxious offense (look at all those 3s tossed by uconn players in flight)...use "set" plays to slow and/or stabilize the offense while also adjusting (getting a better look at/testing, etc,) the defense...and maybe disrupting the rhythm of stanford's "in sync" offense.

My 12 year old daughter (who plays point for her various teams) and I were watching the game out here in Colorado and even she kept asking, "Dad, why do they keep throwing up threes when they aren't going in? Every time they work the ball inside they are scoring? Why aren't they running their offense?" If a 12 year old could see it I don't know why the Huskies and their coaches couldn't.
