Congrats to Maya! But Renee on the third team??? The team would not have the BE regular season title, the BE championship or be in the Elite 8 without Renee. While I know the young women are told they play for the team and for championships - not personal stats or honors - Renee on the third team???

1. Would Maya Moore have made All-American, if Thomas and Greene had not gone down? The best player in UConn basketball history was coming off the bench at the start of the season.
2. When will she go into Geno's "doghouse" and come in off the bench again like third string All-American and another great UConn player, Tina Charles, is doing now?
3. Can UConn win the National Championship with a coach who treats his best players the way Geno does? We shall see.

It's really not that excellent a comment.
1 is reasonable. She would have had to work harder for playing time without Thomas and Greene getting injured.
2 - never if she continues to play every possession with intensity. Being in Geno's doghouse is not as capricious as you make it sound.
3. The answer is 5 and counting. Geno has always been demanding.
