I can't imagine the hurt and disappointment these young women feel right now. They had such a great year and were so close to achieving their dream of a sixth title, only to see it slip away. But these women, and this team have nothing at all to be ashamed of. They did one heck of a job. and everyone in CT should be proud!!. They just learned one of life's valuable lessons: sometimes, no matter how hard you try, you fall short of your goals. The only thing you can do is to keep your head up, ALWAYS give 100 percent or better and never, NEVER, give up. I haven't been a HUSKIES fan in the past, but these ladies have won me over and now I am. GO HUSKIES

Thank God they lost. Now we don't have to read or hear about the Women's team for at least another 8 months.

The only Connecticut newspaper to read weather on line or in news print to get the full impact of the games. Keep it up Jeff, John and Lori.

I don't see anyone making you read or hear anything you don't want to. if you don't want to hear about uconn, then don't listen. I'm sorry you can't be big enough to at least congratulate them on what they've done instead of being grateful they lost. They are a group of young women who do not deserve that kind of attitude

Wonderful brave talented group of young women: they played so well dispite loosing two of their starters My husband and I had a thrilling ride to the final four. any other night we would have won. Sanford played the game of the year and we didnt play our best game that night it happens. Looking forward to next year. We'll win next year you bet.

The team had a great season - winning the Big East regular season and tournament championships! The players should feel very proud of what they did. They lost last night to a great team that played very well. On any given night, each team could have beaten the other. There is no shame in losing. Thanks for giving us such an exciting season!

It is a big disappointment for the senior class members not to have the championship. The members of this team have a real feel for each other and the fans.

Whatever life has in store for each of the seniors, I'm sure they will succeed because of their experiences at UCONN.

Good Luck to each and everyone of you and thank you for a great season of basketball.

I think you're a jerk! How many ganes did you go to this year? Not many I'll bet. I have followed the teams for many years. Including this years final four in Tampa. Did you go? Do you even know how to play REAL basketball? If the men had won it would have been till next season that you would be reading about the team. The women would have been over after the parade. Hope to hear from you next season!
