I dont want pat summitt to even set foot inside the state of ct again. Have the game sure, but let's have it in Springfield instead. ESPN is a bunch of traitors for having pat summitt in a commercial and for showing a tennessee highlight at the beginning of every sportcenter.

The UCONN program has so much class - inside and out - to bad some other large programs dont show up that way too. Oh OH, I was writing .02 seconds over my limit.Well who cares, a comments (win) a comment, no matter how you get it (just ask Rutgers).

There is nothing wrong with CT. They lost a game to a pretty good team in the final four. the team that beat them is not chopped liver. I DO NOT WANT ANYONE OTHER THAN AURIEMMA COACHING THIS TEAM. You can have vanDerveer. Stanford rebounded, took care of the ball and just about everything they threw up went in. I believe that UCONN got the most out of their talent for all the years that Geno has coached. You should keep posting comments fast before the alzheimers seriously sets in
Actually Stanford shot under 45% from the field, so not everything they threw up went in. They moved the ball better than UConn so they got better shots, that's the difference.

It is called showmanship. Ever see the bozos in the NFL nd NBA. College sports are just a minor league for the NFL, NBA and to some extend MLB. Most these bozos will go pro and wind up broke.
Actually, an extremely small percentage (1%) of your bozos will go pro. It's one of the extreme American faux dreams...it's as rare as anything. Kudos to the colleges that stress education OVER sports and give some of these kids a snowball's chance in hell to actually have some background or skills to support themselves. Not to mention that any successful career can end on an injury. Without a backup plan, most of these guys (and I intentionally say guys) will be up the creek without a paddle.

Congratulations on another great season...only two losses, but a sad ending none the less. I can't wait until next season. There is much to look forward to in Ct. basketball in the future. I am amazed however at all the negative comments when the team losses and this is especially apparant when the men lose. As I always say, you people in Ct. are so spoiled and as I always tell my daughter ( who graduated from UC in the glory year of 2004 ), you can never take winning for granted and you sometimes have the best team but don't win, this is what makes winning a championship something to savor but never to take for granted. Good luck to both the men and women next season. UConn is where special memories are made !
Well said. How anyone can say the season is a bust because they only made it to the final four and lost is beyond belief. I was in Tampa and was disapointed to say the least that we lost to Stamford; however, I was very proud to wear my UCONN tees for the entire weekend. They are a great team who didn't play their A game when it counted. They were, and are, by far the most talented team in the nation. The big mistake in this game is was they did not make the correct adjustments. And yes, TRUE UCONN fans never cheer for Tennessee. Great season and we will see everyone in St. Louis.

Don't worry Mary- Tennessee will be off the radar for the next several years and UCONN will remain on top. Geno and the Huskies will catch up to her record and will do it in a shorter period of time. The next few years should prove to be exciting.
