While I appreciate the Courant Uconn coverage, I also want the entire NCAA covergae of both women and men. They only seem to be interested in two teams. If Uconn does not win, then covverage stops.

Actually, that's what the rest of the Internet is for. I can get news about the other 63 teams from a multitude of sources, but the Courant is where I go for Husky coverage.

It was a wonderful season, quite remarkable given the loss of Mel and Kalana. Thanks for lots of thrills!

while it was a great effort and the season was a huge sucess, the disappointment lingers, can't help but think that our newest all american, Rene Montgomery, took us out of the game with all of her quick and unsucessful threes, but thanks for a thrilliing season and for getting us through another New England winter!

I suppose we can woulda-coulda-shoulda until the cows come home. The cold hard fact is that Stanford came in and played a near perfect defense, snatching up any and almost all offensive and defensive boards. UConn shooters were quick on the trigger, shots weren't dropping, and Stanford made the Huskies pay.

Clearly, it was a story-book season for UConn. A marvel of a season,in my opinion, after losing Greene and Thomas and re-jiggering the team to a remarkable run at the national title.

No sense hangng our collective heads. I know Geno will learn from this and help teach his players from this loss. Another fact is that the women's game is getting better and better and the competition is tough.

It's not UConn's "right" to a final four, they must earn it every day in practice and on the game court. There will be no gimmes next year, but I envision another strong Husky run at the Championship. Go Huskies! Great season! Here's go an even greater run next year!

still more evidence, if any were needed, that geno flat can't coach a tight game. shame for the players, though.

Goodbye Geno & Company...Beaten by a better team and an even better educational school...Plus they are better looking than the Storrs crew...Now will you diehard lady fans watch good ole Patty try to mount another championship for her Lady Vols??? Probably not since you're only fair weather fans and don't appreciate women's college basketball from "real" parts of our great country...ESPN on Tuesday night peeps...Later and out...Peace ya' ll!

Article didn't make mention that Gino was totally outcoached. Just waiting for him to blame the players as usual, but he need look no further than the mirror (which he's constantly looking in 24 hours a day).

Without the HC, where else can a real UConn fan get "Love UConn Ladies" news to love?

When you don't play defense, you don't win games. Too many wide open shots in the 2nd half................

Parity comes to the women in the NCAA tournament. UCONN - Tennesee is no longer the only game in town.

Feel bad for the seniors but life goes on. With winning comes losing at some point. A bitter pill to swallow anytime but the Huskies were beaten by a better, more agressive team.

Just wait til' next year!

Don't see Georgia in the finals. A little cold is good-----kills the germs.
