Cru Jones,

Other than trolling on message boards, what team do YOU root for?

Cru is someone that most of us would avoid in work, life and in family. It's a negative attitude that no one ever wants to be around. On top of that Cru has racist feelings that make the comments even more bitter. We all know people like Cru...we just don't hang around them.

Now, concerning Butler...nice to see them bounce back on the road after an earlier road loss. 17-2 ain't too shabby.

Most Butler fans don't really care about the rankings (just IU hacks and people like Cru). The goal is to win the conference...and with 2 losses already in-conference it's going to take some work.

Go Dawgs.

Is that why their ranking is so high?
Love it when you Butler fans justify Butler's ranking after a cream puff win like last night. Every time they beat a cupcake team (like last night), you Butler fans point out that that cupcake beat Ohio state or something back in 1960. Or pointing out that Butler beat another non-ranked Div I school in a normal conference. Love it! Very funny.
Butler = slow white guys

Go Dawgs!!! A win is a win. The record speaks for itself. If they are slow Cru-elly ignorant Jones, then it makes everyone else slower.

Hey Cru, quit hitting the slow mo on the DVR control, then you won't see them play that slow. Of course in slow mo, it will teach you something about basketball as you obviously know nothing about it except to display ignorance. And you know what? There are black guys playing on the Dawg's team as well......idiot.

Butler fans don't care about the rankings?- not from what I've read on these boards. There was crowing last week that Butler would be in the top ten this week and that Butler was heading toward a three seed in the tournament. Not to mention the talk before the conference season that Butler should go undefeated as there was nobody on the schedule that could match their prowess.

Since you are the first poster, how can you say what you say Butler fans are going to say about this game? Slow white guys? I can see you have never seen the Butler players.

Good win but Stevens still is hurting the team by keeping Betko on the floor. 31 minutes and no production. Anyone that has watchd a few Butler games this year knows he needs to sit. He is a good coach though but making some rookie mistakes. It looks like Pete is back, the dawgs should be drawing up plays for Pete instaed of AJ. Does anyone else notice that this Cru character is the first poster in every Butler forum. I don't understand the obsession with something you hate. Oh well, keep rolling Dawgs-you're still on pace for my prediction of 3 losses. They only have one tough road game left. I almost don't mind when the Dawgs lose a tough game, it usually gets them refocused. They struggled down the stretch last year and were dialed in once the NCAA tournament started. I don't care about margin of victory on the road because none of that matters once you are on a neutral court.

Everyone is asking the same question. Why is Betko starting? And what is wrong with AJ? He can't hit his free throws now! Congrats to Pete, Matt, Willie & Mike. I wish Jukes had played some minutes.

I don't know why AJ is missing his freethrows or why his shooting percentage is down. I do know that being in a rhythm is essential in shooting and at the moment he seems to be out of his. Hopefully, he will get back into it in time for the season stretch drive.
Also, its great that Pete Campbell is getting his stroke back on track.

Look guys, it was a tough day for our miserable, racist friend from Illinois....he had to post his pathetic misery in message boards for Carolina, UCLA, A and M, Pitt, Vandy, Ole Miss, Xavier (anti-Catholic stuff)etc plus bust Kansas, the Vols and Texas for only winning close. Coming back from UCLA-USC, I heard him on talk radio bitching at Ben Howland for having two slow white guys on the court at the same time! Cru, time to change your jammies and get set for the NFL playoffs when all four QB's are WHITE.. By the way, Dawgs, good win! And nice job Purdue!

You need to do better at math, friend. Butler won by 19 --NINETEEN -- not 9.

Cru...go back to you whatever hole you crawled out of.

With respect to "winning the conference", Cleveland State has 11 league games remaining...7 of which are "on-the-road". Butler on the other hand plays 6 of it's remaining 10 games @ Hinkle...one of which is against Cleveland State. I believe "things will balance out" and the 'Dawgs will end up on top when it's all said and done.

Big Ten Powerhouses' this year include = Iowa, Northwestern, Michigan, Illinois...Hmmmm, play each twice and that alone is 8 assured wins. Add to that their pathetically SOFT pre-season schedule and of course IU will win 20+.

Big Ten Champs? Maybe? But again, of a very WEAK conference. Don't take my word for it, simply look at this years (and past) results of the "ACC-BIG TEN CHALLENGE"!!!

Peace...

The game was on the road. And the visiting team still won. End of story. The actual basketball fans in here know what I'm talking about and probably even saw the refs give North Carolina every opportunity under the sun to win that game. The games are getting harder and harder to watch because of the poor officiating and ridiculous number of time outs. There's no flow, and its just irritating.
We'll see how teams with ridiculous home records fare once tourney time comes. I'm looking at both of you, IU and Butler. Not so much Notre Dame or Purdue, though, because NIT still does the home court thing as far as I know.
