Why is there a racist rant in your post? You can agree or disagree with Butler's ranking but does race always have to play into it?
Butler has been outstanding these last few years. Off your topic, from a different and opposing teams point of view, congrats.

You butler fans are in for a real awakening in the toournament.
Don't get me wrong - I like seeing a group of white guys playing well and I support them, but they are not the #14 ranked team in the entire USA. Not even close.
Somebody better run and tell Green and Jukes their white. I'm sure they haven't realized it yet. My won't their parents be surprised.
Since when does someone's skin tone have anything to do with how they play basketball.
By the way. A lot of people posted the same garbage last year about the Dawgs in the tourney and they made the Sweet Sixteen.

You forgot about Veasley and Vanzant. Someone needs to let them know. Typical hilljacks obsessed with race.

$35 for a butler game isn't that much considering a comparable seat for IU would be $100 to $200 more. seems like a good deal. then again IUPUI has a good team and their tickets are $10, chock full of local Indy talent. from my experience, not always but for the most part, most people who complain about prices probably wouldn't go anyway, that's just their excuse not to go.
More bull.

IU tickets:

* Dec. 15 - Western Carolina: Main Level=$29; Balcony=$22
* Dec. 22 - Coppin State: Main Level=$29; Balcony=$22

Hoosier fans sound just like cubs fans. "My TEAM out sells your team" Pathetic as always.
Hoosiers only have a short memory when they want to. They seem to forget Butler went to the Sweet 16 last year with less height. But they always seem to remember 1987? Funny how that works. They have nothing to show when comparing Butler to IU so they used pathetic means like Attendance. Wow, just wow. "Impressive" win over Illinois yesterday, took some home cooking to pull that one off.
BTW, Howard took on Kevin Love in AAU and shut him down. He had a lot of trouble in the post and only managed 11 points.

IU should be very familiar with Cleveland State.

They do definitely have the talent to go to the Elite 8. No doubt. I think the point the previous person was making was that apparently no one cares enough to actually go watch a game. What is that about 8K total over the past two games? I know class isnt still out there because I have relatives who go there, so thats not an excuse anymore. Good God, IU puts twice the attendance you have for the past two games in one game over the Holidays.
Where are all you so called Butler fans anyway? Its too bad you couldnt get behind your team this year. Its going to be the last year of this kind of success for the forseeable future. Next year you are going to see what a team looks like that is centered around 3pt shooting, but doesnt have any 3pt shooters. I have seen it at IU. Very painful to watch. That being said, though, you could still probably win the Horizon. Any conference being led by CLEVELAND STATE can be won by anyone obviously.

Of course there were plenty of seats. The 14th ranked team in the country cannot fill their antique arena because they have outpriced themselves. Looks like the great decision to make Bulldog tickets so expensive is backfiring.
i live 2 blocks from hinkle and go less frequently since the prices went up. i have two young sons. barry has forgotten the neighborhood.

You need to make partner or raise yor hourly billing -better yet take a potential client and write off the evening as a corporate/ firm expense -do you think those I.U. Lawyers are paying to see the Hoosiers -they are writing off the expense of the tickets and evening

I don't understand the racial aspect to "white guys". From Tony Hinkle on, Butler has never had any racial disharmony. We're talking equality, both Lady Bulldogs and BU Men's teams going back to Gerry Williams. Give me a break about such ignorance! I guess this guy must have liked the racist component to the U of K teams of Adolph Rupp back-in-the-day.
Tony Hinkle recruited and played African/American athletes in the 1930's and while I am not at home where I can refer to my Butler History books -as a young High School athlete in the 1950's I remember seeing ( I beleive it was Bill Scott ) off the great Ray Crowe coached teams thazt OscarRobinson played on in the 1954-57 era start at Butler.

First, I would take no pride in making a comment about how much you like to see white guys doing well. This is the 21st century, in case you forgot.
Also, certainly you are correct that the Bulldogs aren't the 14th ranked team in the USA (actually 12th, I believe, the polls came out after your post, I guess). After all, what do a bunch of college coaches and sportswriters who follow sports for a living know, compared especially to you? It is obvious you are the custodian of all knowledge in the known universe when it comes to college basketball. Please identify for us the coaches and sportswriters who consult you before they vote each week.
Doesn't it just get your goat to see Butler succeed?

So that has to do with their skin tone or social conditions? Again their skin color has nothing to do with their ability.
Ask Jimmy the Greek about it. He lost his job by saying what you are implying.
Oh, wait. I'm sure he was before your time diaper boy. I get tired of dealing with uneducated bigots.
