Flirida is going to kill the luckiest team in college football. The Cincinnati Bearcats is the most overrated team in college football. We'll see how good the kittens from Cinci are on January 1st. If it werent for such bad officiating, the bearcats lost to West Virginia, Conneticut and they did lose at Pitt. Cincy has a good old Ass Kicking coming there way on January 1st. Get ready Bearcats cause you don't stand a chance against the Gators.

I wasn't a believer in Cincy until that Pitt game. Pitt plays good defense (led FBS in sacks) and Cincy torched them in the second half. I don't think Cincy has a shot at stopping Florida's offense but at the same time, Cincy's proven they can score on anyone. I always root for Ohio teams.

Guru - Should be a shootout between Bearcats and Gators, the scoreboard will be a busy place. Me thinks the 'Cats at times will look like poop against the Gators but this team has something special going for it. Can't articulate it but I predict whomever has the ball for the last series of downs will score and go home a winner. GO BEARCATS!

What does it say when these Ohio based armchair quarterbacks cannot acknowledge a winning season by Ohio teams? As a sports fan you don't have to support either of them, but give credit where it is due. What a lack of class.

Cincy had an awesome season, but unfortunately they don't have a defense, so they're going to need to score 70 + to have a chance against Florida (who will be EXTREMELY po'd after having lost to Alabama).

I'll be rooting for them as well. Solich has done a heck of a job for Ohio. He fits in nice there.

He's not getting along with the faculty here unfortunately due to constant funneling of cash from academic programs to athletic ones. Check out The Post.

All is not well here in the merry land of Oz.

Mr Breeze #11 - My Bearcats have a mountain to climb against the Gators. The 'Cats got the least desirable match up they could have wanted. With their offense they can score quickly and often but the defense - well if the Gators do not put 40 or 45 on the board I would be shocked. GO BEARCATS!

Frank Solich has done wonders for Ohio; as an old-timer (OHIO'72 Bobcat) I have seen many good Ohio teams but I love this team's fighting spirit, gamesmanship and talent.

Too bad their big playmakers were banged up (Theo Scott & LaVon Brazill) for Central Michigan but I am sure that they will bring their game for Marshall.

Yeah I think that if we didn't have so many injuries and sickness this year we would have easily won the MAC East outright. Our quarterback played while having the flu. That is dedication. We had two of our best players injured for the Central Michigan game. I am not saying if all players had been healthy we would have massacred them by any means, but we would have performed better.

I admire what Frank has done for the program, but our university is financially suffering and our president is more concerned with athletics than education. It's really starting to cause problems here. Moral is extremely low right now among students, faculty, and alumni.

I would have even more respect for Solich if he took his huge amounts in bonuses this year (I think when all is said and done he will have about 50k added to his base salary) and donate them to intercollegiate athletics here at our university to help cut some of their debt. It wouldn't make a huge difference fiscally, but PR wise it would be a gesture of respect and good will towards the rest of OU's employees.

Go Bobcats!

Trust me. I would love to see UC beat the Gators.I see 2 glaring problems. First, they will need to stop the Gators running game. The way Pitt ran on them will be nothing compared tp Florida and Tebow. Secondly, they wiil be fqacing the top defense in the country. Pass protection will be difficult. The best way to attack that speed is strait ahead running football. Thats exactly what Bama did. Thats not exactly UC's style. Kelly's status may play a part as well. And don't think for a minute Florida won't play with a chip on their shoulder.

Funny how you make excuses for LSU losing yet can't acknowledge a bowl game in Nawlins as being a home field advantage for LSU.

Mr. Breeze #16 - You make two excellent observations as to the tactical part of the upcoming game. The Bearcats will have to play above what they have shown on defense and make at least a couple of defensive stops along the way. Can they commit to an all out run stop defense? I tend to think they have no other choice. The gator "D" is damn good but if (and that is a big if) Pike gets O line protection he has the ability to carve up the secondary.
Agreed, Florida will be playing with a grudge.
Let 'em put on the pads and play - that will settle it.
