Geno Auriemma had heard about the progress Kaili McLaren had made during the off-season. She worked diligently to mold herself into a better conditioned athlete.

Kaili's obviously working hard and it shows. She deserves a lot of credit for her hard work at conditioning and weight loss. She has great ball handling skills and is a smart player. She's a gem in the rough and I think she'll continue to improve over the next few years and be someone everyone will be watching. You go girl!!!!
