If, and I say this, If, it was only alcohol, and they were not intoxicated, the rules are in place to deal with the situation. If a positive comes back on the drug testing, then it is obvious, they have to be suspended for the remainder of the basketball year. Further action, by the University is something that will have to be weighed very carefully. There are two peoples lives at stake, even if a positive on grass comes in. It should not be a criteria to shatter their futures entirely. I would hope that what ever testing they put them thru, that they didnt go down that road, and every thing comes back negative. That would be great for them, and ultimatly, thats what truly counts. Basketball is a big part of their young lives, so a permanent ban, past this year, should not even be contemplated. I have my fingers crossed for both of them,that they can overcome what they did to them selves.
