Last year at this time, Nicole Woods thought her dream of playing professional basketball might have ended.

I'm very proud of Nicole Woods. I'm honored to have known her as a person, Woman of God and a Basketball Coach. I am very thankful to have had her as a coach my junior year. Her being gone, playing ball, doing something she loves to do makes me want to play even harder just for her my senior year. If she can do it, then I know I can. I just want to say to her that I'm very thankful that I had the chance to learn from her on and off the court. Best wishes, Coach, DO YA THANG!
