what a joke. He was a reporter for god's sake.
I'm sure he was a great guy, hard worker etc. etc. etc. but
I tired of seeing buildings, highways etc named after average
"nice" people who didn't do anything really noteworthy.

Which stretch of pavement?
That ten miles of bad road outside his hometown?
Kind of a rough tribute, if you ask me,...
I think they should name a potato after him.
"Mr. Russert Potato-Head"
:)
PS...by the way, can you ask Dan Quayle if that is how he spells potatoe?

Man you people can't let it go - Quayle was just reading off a card the teacher gave him. Should he have questioned the teacher in front of the class? Why haven't I ever heard you people talk about how stupid Kennedy sounded when he put "r"'s in words - Ideer Warsh etc.
I went to a cafe in Michigan once and saw potatoe on the menu - maybe it's a michigan thing
Kinda like the speech problems most Bostonians have.
