Didn't know Art was drafted by Indy!?!?!

Indianapolis: Art Schlichter, QB, 1982 (No. 4). Six starts in three seasons and a pathological gambling problem.

Re Lam Jones, stonemasons have very sensitive hands. They have to choose just the right size and shape stone on feel alone.

To many QB's on that list. This should tell the Ravens something.
Say no to Ryan.

Surely Clifford Charlton was a worse 1st round pick than Mike Junkin for Clevelend

Dude the answer for the Ravens is clearly Kyle Boller, how many playoff runs has his tom foolery cost this franchise?

Who chooses a kicker in the first round? Only Arizona.

I noticed that too. A great point, especially given the sidenote concerning that Little played for the then 'St. Louis' Cardinals.

For the ravens how is it not Kyle Boller, Any QB selected in he first round that does not workout cost a team at least 5 years & we are still waiting, so for us its easily Kyle fumbler/INT Boller!..Why do we keep protecting this guy???

Well Bill you really know how to piss people off. Art Schlichter was drafted by The BALTIMORE COLTS. An Irrsay pick. Basically the beginning of the end.

What happened in Baltimore, stays in Baltimore, Bill. Art Schlichter was a Baltimore Colt whether we like it or not. When did we start surrendering our heritage to Indy.

"Taylor had some OK years with the Ravens, but he just didn't live up to the Pro Bowl standard set by other first-round picks by the team."

There is no reason to sugarcoat it. Travis Taylor was a BUST!

Mark Clayton better be careful as he seems to be heading in a similiar career projection as T. Taylor.

Tony Mandarich and Ryan Leaf have to be the biggest flops of all time. Both were either the number 1 or 2 picks of the entire draft. Mandarich was touted to be one of the best OT's to ever come out of college.

"Washington: Heath Shuler, QB, 1994 (No. 3). Small hands? Aren't they supposed to check out that stuff? But at least the North Carolina congressman didn't have to leave town for his new career."

8-)

Yes, and in his new job nobody is surprised when he drops the ball.

Glad to see ya front and center, Bill. Lookin good. Well, except for the fact that you seemed to confuse the Indy Colts with the Baltimore Colts. Not a real smart thing to do around here, Bill.

And with regard to the Ravens first round busts, actually, you got half of it right. Travesty Taylor probably dropped more key passes than he ever caught. But it was a two-fer year, Bill. Remember? We had the great fortune to have drafted Taylor AND Boller that year. Wow. Is that a year to remember, or what? Remember, in the sense of DON'T EVER DO THAT AGAIN!

Great article, man. Really.
