Someone has apparently lied to Jann ---
Jann will be classified as a sophomore at that time. "But I may get a fourth year of eligibility down the line," she noted.

This is completely incorrect. When a player transfers, even if they only played one game, they have lost that season of eligibility. There is no NCAA appeal process and NO possible way to get another year.
