Coach Matta is a really great coach.

I think however they all fell into a trap of success by wearing out the legs of the 2009-10 team with playing time that kept the OSU bench too short to win at the end against a much stronger bench.

OSU lost to a stronger bench, not a better team.

Speculation that they were over achievers carried by Turner aside:
The only way to develop the depth needed against tired legs again in 2010-11 will be for those inside guys to step into MORE playing time and not allow a short bench to prevent going to the place they could otherwise be.

But Matta did it with Oden to get there, while benching a very good player who played his heart out against N. C.--- And then again with Turner,

Will Matta EVER figure out that trap of tired legs and empty tanks that lose big games and championships?

Great News ..... Coach Matta's hiring of Coach Dickerson is a;ready pay dividends for the Buckeyes . The Buckeyes need a strong rebounder and body under the boards and Evan appears to be a player that can help at 6'8" 255 lbs . The Buckeyes Basketball team will be very special the next couple of seasons with all the great recruiting by Coach Matta . Go Bucks

I will expect absolutely nothing from this guy, like our other transfers, and if he does anything it will be a gift to me.

This guy did nothing at BC for two years. I have to question Matta on this one.

i remember hearing people saying how excited they were when Big Z transfered in, and what has he done? This kid is no more then a practice player, in two years he has terrible stats. With how little Matta uses his bench this kid will not get a chance to develop any game experience just like Big Z has gotten nothing last year other then splinters in the back side. Seems like a pointless waste of a schollie.
