Yea, Jamarca Sanford looked awesome when he missed that tackle on Hightower and broke Henderson's leg last year. With that kind of tackling on his own teammates, he def deserves more playing time. When we are relying on 7th round safeties to bail us out you know we are in trouble. Besides Peterson & Harvin, who both fell into our laps...who have drafted that has really contributed? Brian Robison & Phil Loadholdt. Outside of that...we are sorely lacking in draftee's contributions

it was a great pick. griffin will add young strong competition at that spot and keep the starters very motivated and hungry to produce. otherwise they wont be starting. this was a good move. vikes defense has improved a lot over last year already. with the additions of lito and cook and a bad ass RB in Toby this team will be top contenders AGAIN this season. I see the Ravens, Panthers, Titans, Vikings, and Pats being the teams to beat

Good. It will be fun watching Brett throw away another couple of play-off games for the Vikings.
Please explain how you throw away a couple of playoffs in one season. I don't think you get to play another if you lose one. Also, please try to know what you are talking about before you post. It really helps when trying to make sense.

Joe Webb??!! U kiddin' me??!! Guess this brainless of a what you call Vi-queens brass just can't get enough of Spergon Wynn & Tavaris Jackson eh? Maybe they should draft Akili Smith & Andre Ware in the 7th round, too? Or how bout' bring back Daunte Culpepper to compete against Favre? Vince Young, Donovan McNabb, David Gerrard, Jason Campbell, Jamarcus Russell, Akili Smith, Warren Moon......the list goes on. How many of these qb's have won anything significant? It's one thing to have a cursed franchise. But to be this DUMB & keep drafting athletes to play the QB position....it's truly sad Spielman & company can be this idiotic & allowed be in charge of the draft. The aforementioned names are good athletes, just not NFL championship QB material. Vi-queens brass just don't get it, do they? HOW MANY MORE TARVARIS JACKSON'S ARE THEY GOING TO DRAFT BEFORE THEY REALIZE CERTAIN PLAYERS JUST WEREN'T MEANT TO PLAY THE NFL QB POSITION??!!

Dude, chill.

HE'S NOT PLAYING QB IN THE NFL.

He's moving to WR, a spot that he also played in college. The Vikes didn't take any qB because there aren't any franchise QB's in this draft.

Good draft by the Vikes. If the offensive and defensive lines play to their potential, the elusive first Super Bowl win for Minnesota is within reach. Go Vikings!

You 'seen' him, Eduardo? When, since you were picking cotton all day? Are you familiar with the saying 'from cain't see to cain't see'? Just for you, here is translation to American:'from before dawn till after dusk'. Say, while we are at it, note proper punctuation usage here... loser

For those bitching about the Vikes passing on Clausen, consider this:

After Carolina took Clausen in the 2nd round, they also took QB's Armanti Edwards in the 3rd, and Tony Pike in the 6th.

Doesn't sound like they're real confident in Clausen, either. Who takes 3 QB's in the SAME draft? They just took him for value, because he was ranked much higher.

yes, there is a reason they re-signed jackson right before the draft.

Glad you had a great weekend sitting in front of the TV analyzing the draft. I was on vacation. A darn good week off no worries about who the Bears were picking!!! Were ready to take back the division and march to the Super Bowl!!!! Did Brent finally pick up the TV at Sears yet?? Guess not!!

im glad you were worried about my weekend my friend. glad you had a good one as well. i dont blame you for not worrying about this draft. no one in this draft would help the bears. they coulda had the top ten picks and would still be stinkin up the midway with sausage excretion. just set your goal for beating detroit and go from there. i dont see the bears beating the vikes or the packers for a division title. even the lions for that matter. If cutler can cut his INTs about 150%, down to around only 10 or so, they learn how to run the ball, block, run routes, tackle in the secondary, they might have a chance of breaking .500 for this next season. lets face it, bears arent the dominant team and wont be for quite some time. get on the viking bandwagon now and enjoy the year with wins instead of going home with your tail tucked under your scrotum and budweiser snotcycils hanging from your shnozz

"Report: Vikings think Brett Favre will play two more years"

This is a copy and paste of the HEADLINE of this post. Note the word 'two'. Same as couple. More than 'one'. Less than 'three'.

Ya know, as much as we enjoy playin' with you poor guys, I'm gonna ask one thing: don't make it so easy, um'kay?
