Sorry but he was NOT respected by all. And should not have been. Anyone who acted like he did over the years, throwing chairs and childish tantrums, should not be respected. He was fired from IU. He quit Texas Tech in the middle of the season letting his school and team down. Wake up! This man is not a person to respect. No one feared him, most laughed at his behavior. Respect someone fired from one job and quit another when needed most? Kind of hard to look up to someone with these qualities....or lack there of.
