I just posted in a West Virginia forum. Apparently, Topix has a new security deal wherein you have to answer a riddle.

They just asked an amputee what's harder?

1. Walking and chewing gum.

2. Hopping on one leg.

WTF?

What is your objection? Did anybody break the law?

Do you doubt that the bakers would have done anything within the law to rid the world of homosexuality? I don't. The homosexuals rid the world of the bakery first.

And closing the shop was the choice of the owners just like refusing to bake a cake for a lesbian couple was a choice. People that don't want to serve all law abiding members of society probably shouldn't be in business serving the public.

These kinds of issues may energize the faithful, but they don't seem to gain traction with unbelievers. Christians can complain about that, but if they can't adapt, they may be selected against by a culture that is growing increasingly impatient with Christian homophobia.

You agree with Stalin's beliefs, but have nothing in common with him.
I share some beliefs with all people capable of having beliefs.

Do you not understand what you need to do to make a relevant point?

Got it.
The poster who obviously writes for Boomhauer makes a better argument than you.
I haven't started taking you seriously yet.

I'm still having trouble believing that you believe the things you are saying.

Stalin killed for his atheistic belief.
He declared atheism "inseparable" from his communism.
Where's the mystery?
Atheism is a disbelief in religion and religious liars. See how that works buck?

Religious people can't seem to understand nor accept, that Atheists will simply not change their minds based on a fairytale and need evidence.

Sailors in the old days hated sailing around Cape Horn, because it's so cold and rough.

There were a number of very brave explorers who placed their lives at peril. Some died trying to make the crossing or find new passages.

Punta Arenas has many monuments and other public displays dedicated to them.

(Whoa! Haven't even covered the big one yet.)
Another thing 4 u to consider. In medieval times, the world population was MUCH lower than it the 7 billion.

So the atrocities would be much worse, considering body count; IF they happened today.

I tend to agree with you, but I don't know much about what Guevara believed except that he is said to have been a Marxist, and I only know what that means in the broadest terms. I haven't studied such things because I find them off-putting and largely irrelevant to me.
I am aware that something called Marxist humanism exists, but it involves Marxism, which makes it a distinct species from secular humanism. and I don't have much use for Marxism in state politics, so I haven't looked at it to see what it advocates, which may include killing. I also don't know if Guevara was a Marxist humanist.
Secular humanism has nothing to do with Marxism, Soviet Communism. Chinese Communism, Leninism, Maoism or Stalinism. In it's Affirmations, it advocates for democracy, egalitarianism, and personal political freedom.
Marxism is a dinosaur, these days. However I'm certain someone will read his theories again, some day.
