I disagree.
The Republican elected officials don't care about government, just themselves. But the power behind them wants to undo the US Constitution and create a plutocracy/aristocracy are very much, and the process is well under way. But don't wait for them to send out an announcement that democracy is the target. You'll have to figure it out yourself. When the time comes that the people have no real say about the important issues, such as if wars will end, whether banks should be regulated, whether torture will continue, whether constitutional rights will be respected and protected, etc. When the day comes that these things are no longer decided by people like you and me (I still have voting rights), then democracy will be dead.
But like I said, don't wait for anybody to gloat about it when it happens. Expect the illusion of democracy to persist. Expect the illusion that there is a two-party system representing opposite poles of a spectrum. You'll be able to identify that that is not longer the case when the day comes that both liberals and conservatives express disgust, and when the only issues that you decide are local issues, such as who will be dog catcher or if the roads will be resurfaced.
If that day ever comes, expect that the elections, the news and the schools will all be dysfunctional as well.
And if that day ever comes, I would suggest that you consider extricating yourself from the Democrat versus Republican mindset and recognize that that is an illusion and a distraction that benefits the behind-the-scenes concerns as they transform the country and its government to serve them while citizens quibble over D and R.
Do you think this is too cynical?

Have a great day.
Your post was an act of stupidity. Until you present proof beyond a shadow of doubt that God does not exist, your post is irrelevant.

You described actions, not emotions.
You fail again.
The actions you see are a result of emotions. All emotions manifest themselves in reality and are observable. You are desperately trying to separate the emotions we feel from the actions they cause. Keep slamin yer head against the wall, maybe you'll knock some sense into it.

Now we can continue.
You can now describe how something can come from the absence of anything.
Go.
And you KNOW that there was an "absents" of anything before the big bang how? Cosmologists see energy and mass residing in empty space, so the absence of anything may not be true. Dark energy is a form of something occupying empty space.

It take NO faith whatsoever, all it takes is the absence of evidence.

You're still only describing actions.

Cause & effect, right?

Prove the cause.

Prove that emotions are real.

You can't.

No one can.

Seriously.

Bushy 2 still holds the record for deficit spending.

It's a record that will haunt him until he drinks himself to death (and soon, it appears).

Obama has one of the lowest spending records yet.

We don't know of any absence before the Big Bang.

We don't even know that the Big Bang happened, it's a mathematical assumption.

We also don't know if dark matter exists, it can't be seen or tested in any way, but it "explains" so much. Huh...

We DO know that something cannot come from nothing.

It is not my job to disprove your claim, it is YOU how are required to provide proof for your POSITIVE claim. If I assert that I have a dragon in my garage, would I be so stupid as to ask you to prove I do not? Or would you be the one saying, "You have a dragon in your garage? Prove it. In asking me to prove your positive claim you have committed the fallacy of appealing to ignorance. See how that works?

"When debating any issue, there is an implicit burden of proof on the person asserting a claim. "If this responsibility or burden of proof is shifted to a critic, the fallacy of appealing to ignorance is committed".[

Emotions are a part of the naturalistic realm. Emotions exist in our brains, it is NOT possible to have emotions without a physical brain. The brain can be monitored, examined, emotional responses can be detected, and these emotion are in fact observable, either by our actions or by physical manifestations, as detected by lie detectors. Increases in blood pressure, sudden temperature changes on the surface of the skin. Emotions are real and easy to prove.

Nope. A big pile of "nope"--not even.

The **facts** are?

Bushy holds the world-record for **deficit** spending.

Likely a record he will drink to until he finally dies of alcohol poisoning.

But Bushy was **your** man, wasn't he?

LMAO!
