Homes can be rebuilt. In the process it generates jobs for many who need to work. All sorts of jobs. Illinois has many homes hundreds of years old. A redo of the electrical and plumbing is a blessing in disguise.<quoted text>
RR posted that the god DOES answer ALL prayers.
He added that sometimes his answer to the prayer is "no."
I thought that was a cute post.
I thought about it this morning when, at the gym, I saw the TV coverage of those horrible tornadoes that whipped through some Illinois towns. I pictured those poor people praying to their god that their homes may be saved, and the god answering in a booming tornado thundering voice, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!"
Not the answer they were hoping for.
But then again, the god has a plan.
Or maybe those people did bad things, or thought them.
The loss of life is the hardest to deal with. Thankfully there was only a few that died. Most homes here have basements. Itís very possible to survive an f-4 or f-5 tornado with a basement. Thatís why we have insurance.
