I do not.

The whole idea of "god" is one of master/slave.

And I think slavery is demeaning-- both of the master and of the slave.

That is a true statement. We are all slaves to our frame of mind.
Nope.

A person who recognizes what there personal frame of mind is?

Can step outside of that, and empathize or understand **other** frames of reference.

You have demonstrated, time and again, you lack that singular ability.

Sad.

That is true but they have to do it in secret. Open organized religion is not tolerated ask The Buddhist.
So?

It's still religion, and the majority of the people practice it.

No religious bigotry, because religion will not be tolerated. From there comes the thought police.
Only religion that **forces** it's ugly onto others.

That is what the US Constitution protects us from: religion as LAW.

Anyone is free to worship the Smurfs, if they wish.

They just cannot **force** Smurf-worship onto others.

Something you seem to have a real problem with...

<quoted text>Yes, that is true, it is why such a high percentage of people don't die with the religion they originally belonged to. I don't think an atheist based nation would afford such a luxury. The Atheist post here do lean in that direction. The collage crowd, that are pro-atheist, would deny what goes on here , or write it off as a fundamentalist minority that frequently speaks.
Most atheists believe that religion in general will causes problems in the long run. I cannot say that I do not agree with this. History has shown that religion has caused many problems, but it's not the religions it's the people practicing the religions. A religion is supposed to be a personal choice. Something that someone chooses to follow by their own free will. When a religious person starts to try to force their beliefs onto society. It's no more ok for me to tell you that you can't believe in a deity if you so choose to than it is for you to tell me that I must believe in a deity....neither of us have the right to tell each other how to love our lives either... The only way that should change is if you or I were to bring harm to someone...in that case it's in my opinion that someone should intervene.

You gotta invest some skin in it.

Your public confession or lack of bares no weight. God has already revealed the truth on this, read Romans chapter 1.
I'll take that as you have nothing and use the book of lies as a last defense and failing miserable

You would make a great pew warmer.
Trust those with more scholastic knowledge than you.
Dumb ass. The scientific method that produces something, technology, applied sciences, is worthwhile, and has always been around. You worship theorists who turn it into a religion.
BTW, intuition doesn't come from scholastic knowledge. That is an indoctrination is a particular way of looking at things. Intuition comes from personal experience and logic.
I swear, sometimes you show glimmers of intelligence, then you go blow it. You always fall back on your Holy Book of Theoretical Physics Scriptures.
Free thinker. Yeah, didn't cost them a cent.
Turkey brain, if there is an afterlife you won't be taking that knowledge you got here with you. If you ain't making money with it now it will do you no good whatsoever.
You like the poster below you, have nothing but your worthless word to express yourselves with./ I have all the empirical evidence and the fact of reality at my back and sides.

You resist because you were programed to do so.

Can you never exceed your programming?

You keep making these absolute knowledge claims, but how do you know your reasoning is infallible?

Your whole premise relies on the idea that your reasoning is perfect and without error.

How did you come to that conclusion?
