Atheism requires God to exist in order that it can exist. This causality is epistemological, not ontological, in nature. Ergo, Faith is not involved, not unless one argues that knowledge itself is a faith construct.

Atheism does seem obsessed with denying God.

Why the concern?

The Creator gave them a sense of purpose, by denying Him however, they remove the rational basis for a purpose.

So they claim to have purpose whilst being unable to account for purpose...

Why should an atheist worry about caring?

Surely striving for the top of the pile is the only thing that matters.

To get to the top, you need others of your species to support you. To get others of the species to support you, you must demonstrate love, caring, and empathy and must teach them and learn. Are you really that stupid?

Atheism is not believing in god due to the theist having zero observable evidence.

I am sorry your church has made you so intolerant to those not like you but until you can show observable evidence that a god exists the atheist is on solid ground.

Why should a Christian worry about caring? All you have to do is say abracadabra Jesus right?

Yes humans are a social species who have evolved that way for survival.

So the male Lion gets to the top of the pride by being caring?

The evolutionary (imaginary) process, does not require care or concern, only survival...

Unless you are arguing that evolutions main tenet is "survival of the most caring..."?

Of course it does, it explains why you have a sense of purpose, because God gave it to you.

Explain how being a cosmic accident gives you purpose...

Apples to oranges, you are talking about a different niche, and yes, the male lion must care for the young, so it must have such tendencies to make it to the head of the pride. The female lions do the hunting.

Why would I show you evidence?

God has already revealed Himself in a sufficient manner to yourself that you don't need any more evidence.

Evidence isn't the problem, love of sin is the problem, you cannot receive God because you love your sin too much.

You just deny that because the alternative is something you cannot face.

I can't answer for anyone else, of course, but it may be resentment of the Fundamentalist intrusion into our daily lives.
And an attempt to point out that intrusion to those who might be unaware.

Let's start with the second word in your first sentence, there...
