Reading the Constitution is fun but many forget the many years of court decisions?
With the First Amendment cases, they rewrote it anyway.
They took an establishment clause which was ratified to prohibit federal interference with matters of religion and now use it as a requirement for interfering with matters of religion.
The rewrote it to mean the opposite of the text.
