Heh heh.

Couldn't resist it.

Where is "Oxycontin" IANS, our palliative care specialist? Time for him to go back into business. The government is putting him in the yellow pages for the drug shoppers.

Out of all that, these two points were the only ones worth any comment at all.

Forcing people to say they believe a certain way worked well for christianity. During the inquisitions, who would you have sided with? How about the crusades? How many times has some form of your god be forced on people? Is force OK when it is your god?

Keeping government out of all private matters seems to be the best answer.

Right, sure, there’s no God because you say so,[rolling eyes].
Atheism is all in your head.
By the way, your freedom was purchased by thousands who did believe in God. There’s 125,000 Judeo/Christian United States American graves throughout Europe. Not to mention the hundreds of thousands casualties we took on for Europe..
Since then we have protected Europe with our military. I think it’s high time we leave you Europeans to stand up and defend for yourself against tyranny. Let Russia gobble all they want. Because sacrifices our Judeo/Christian soldiers means nothing to you.
If it was up to me I would dig up everyone of our dead military service members in Europe and bring them home to the United States. Then unlock the gate and wave the Russians in to Europe. In fact the Russians are already in Europe.
I personally don’t think Europe is worth defending. It’s a cold and godless continent. Let the cold and godless atheist defend it. I’m tired of seeing our resources being spent only to watch the arrogant and godless Europeans thumb their noses at our dead service members.
Fantastic! So we all agree that everything is just in our heads? THANK YOU!.

You didn´t need to to denigrate that truth with what you posted after though. What about the graves of your native Indian tribes when you took away their country from them? How many non believers, burn, tortured and killed? Are you enjoying technology? Did god give you what you have now? We are not living in the dark ages. Also soldiers fight for their country not your god. When soldiers fight for god, we know how it turns out...

You don´t need to worry about Europe we found peace and are at good terms with russia and china. It´s not 1942 any more. And you didn´t save europe, the Alliance saved Europe. US on their own didn´t win the war, no matter what way your propaganda puts it. It took the combined effort of Russa, Europe and the US to defeat Nazi Germany. You helped alot though so thx.

Be proud of your country, but don´t be stupid.

The root word of atheism is not theism.

"atheos" (Greek)= no god + "ism" = the belief there is no god.

I can explain it for you; I can't understand it for you.

lol a thesis has not to be of a religious nature.

So much ignorance here. Just tell me how much faith other religions require ok? Tell me how much it is and I tell you how much "faith" Atheism requires. Or just troll away if you can´t.

Pedantic buck stomps his foot again – want another version?

The term atheism originated from the Greek atheos, meaning "without god(s)", used as a pejorative term applied to those thought to reject the gods worshipped by the larger society. With the spread of freethought, skeptical inquiry, and subsequent increase in criticism of religion, application of the term narrowed in scope.

Honey, you can’t even explain it unless you bias it as best suites your sensibilities.

Hi Dave, can’t say I missed you but hey, hello stranger...

So you stopped having heterosexual sex when gonorrhoea and syphilis became rampant in the 40s, 50s and 60s? Or did you hope and pray not to get caught out and if you did then there was always an antibiotic to help out...

Do you still smoke? Lung cancer should be a pretty powerful preventative but it does not stop people does it?

Or are you just having a go because the subject is gay people and you don’t like gay people so feel you must put your 2 cents of hatred in – right?

You have to learn context first before you can understand anything. The belief there is no god was meant in the reality. Of course there is a god in your own imagination. I just has nothing to do with reality, But you can´t build bridges with your imagination, or fight cancer, explore the universe without proving stuff in the reality we exist in. Such Atheism. It´s not really that hard to understand if you try to open your mind just a little tiny bit.

Of course! The ol' Do as I say, not as I do, bit.

Out of all of god's laws, he only really meant the ones that I don't want you to do! He didn't really mean the ones that say I can't do what I want to do or he only meant them for someone else.

Atheism is the belief that no god exists.

That's what it means. If you don't mean to say that, use a different word.

You pulled that out of your ass.

Here are the legitimate sources:

Atheism, from the Greek a-theos ("no-god"), is the philosophical position that God doesn't exist. It is distinguished from agnosticism, the argument that it is impossible to know whether God exists or not (Academic American Encyclopedia).

Atheism, system of thought developed around the denial of God's existence. Atheism, so defined, first appeared during the Enlightenment, the age of reason (Random House Encyclopedia).

Atheism is the doctrine that there is no God.(Oxford Companion to Philosophy).

Atheism (Greek, a-[private prefix]+ theos, god) is the view that there is no divine being, no God (Dictionary of Philosophy, Thomas Mautner, Editor).

Atheism is the belief that God doesn't exist (The World Book Encyclopedia).

Atheism, commonly speaking, is the denial of God. Theism (from the Greek theos, God) is belief in or conceptualization of God, atheism is the rejection of such belief or conceptualization. In the ancient world atheism was rarely a clearly formulated position (Encyclopedia Americana).

Atheism, the critique and denial of metaphysical beliefs in God or spiritual beings. Atheism is to be distinguished from agnosticism, which leaves open whether there is a god or not, professing to find the question unanswerable, for the atheist, the non-existence of god is a certainty (The New Encyclopedia Britannia).

According to the most usual definition, an atheist is a person who maintains that there is no god…(rejects eccentric definitions of the word)(The Encyclopedia of Philosophy).

Atheism is the doctrine that God does not exist, that belief in the existence of God is a false belief. The word God here refers to a divine being regarded as the independent creator of the world, a being superlatively powerful, wise and good (Encyclopedia of Religion).

Atheism (Greek and Roman): Atheism is a dogmatic creed, consisting in the denial of every kind of supernatural power. Atheism has not often been seriously maintained at any period of civilized thought (Encyclopedia of Religion and Ethics-Vol II).

Atheism denies the existence of deity (Funk and Wagnall's New Encyclopedia-Vol I).

Why do you always claim you prove the opposition wrong when you are plainly talking out of your butt crack? Stomping your foot and saying “I am right because I have a home school PhD in pedantic stupidity” does not mean you prove anything

Hint...
