My goodness, you certainly have the moral certitude, now you just need the position of a god to enforce it.
So, how do you feel about the injustices man does to plants and animals he manages for food?
Do you pay much attention to the demands of insect life in your house for rights and their moral lecturing?
The above blathering?

Does not actually SAY ANYTHING.

LMAO!

That's our Dave: 4000 characters without saying a damn thing coherent.

Not a very noble past time, but something humans do.
But now you don't have to walk down streets full of horseshit to do such a thing,
Ain't science grand?
That's Dave Nelson:

He can *literally* write to the 4000 character Topix limit, and not say a single coherent idea.

It's almost funny, in a way...

The Bible is very homophobic. I don't deny that at all, quite the contrary; I point it out. It also condones misogyny, slavery, racism, and infanticide. Why do you cling to the homophobic parts but not (presumably) the parts about those other morally repugnant things? Indeed, why can't you stop obsessing about homosexuality, if it presumably doesn't affect you? The answer must be that it does affect you somehow.
yeah yeah yeah....lucifer was kicked out of heaven cuz he thought he was morally superior to God too. you're the spitting image of your dear ole dad:-)

No, it didn't. In fact, while I still belonged to a Pentecostal church I was going to voluntarily go to a retreat called Desert Springs Ministries to give up being gay, thinking it was the right thing to do, but my parents stepped in and sat me down and talked me out if it.

Again, you have no idea what you are talking about. You are dishonest and ignore the teachings of Jesus.

Your parents were wise.

You cannot just "pray the gay away" any more than you can "pray to suddenly have 4 arms"

I said just because something is covered under your insurance does not mean YOU have to use it. I assume a heart transplant is covered under mine, but I have no plans to change hearts.

Do you think that humans are an endangered species? There are only 7 billion of us. The rainforest and whales are endangered. They become less and less as we become more and more. Why do you wish to see the rainforests destroyed? Or whales.

Let's get this straight.

'Rational atheist' oxymorons condemn the Bible for setting guidelines regarding slavery in cultures where it was a consequence of war and debt, but excuse the sacrificial murder of unborn children for the convenience of irresponsible couples.

Takes a reprobate to think like that...

1) there is no actual history in support of your 400 years of slavery.
2) the story as told in your bible, is quite disgusting.
In it, your god deliberately prevents poor Pharaoh from actually letting the people go-- so that the bible's god can glory in his ultimate death.
And make no mistake-- the bible **literally** says that Pharaoh's death brings glory to bible-god!
That's pretty sick right there...
.. but before that? Many others have to be slaughtered by your god, first.
It appears you worship a god who gets off on killing......
...sick.
Bob,

I guess you think those 180 Pyramids in Egypt built themselves. Incredible.

Refusing to believe the Jewish people were slaves is a endorsement of Anti-Semitism. Just like the former Iraq President refused to believe in the Holocaust. Both cases are historical events.

You canít build 180 Pyramids in ancient Egypt without slave labor. No society could afford that kind of tax burden. Slavery is still in our modern society. But because it happened to the Jews you refuse to believe it.

So slavery was OK because of war and debt?

Wow.

Since we still have war and debt today, are you saying slavery should be reintroduced?

No actually, it's not. Anti-semitism is to be prejudiced against someone because they are Jewish. It has nothing to do with slavery. Duh.
