Now that your pal Phelps is dead, who knows?
Pat Robertson? That Lively fellow? Phoney Baloney Mahony?
Let me make one thing very clear.

No, let me rephrase that (because it's you).

Let me attempt to make one thing very clear; Fred Phelps is not my friend. He's a piece of shit, lying scumbag and I'm glad he's dead.

Is that clear?

Y'all aren't doing a very good job at it.
Nobody's trying to prove that either.

We are simply, as simply as possible so that even you can understand, that free will and an omniscient god are logically contradictory.

That means that they can't both exist simultaneously.

That means at the same time.

typo - missing word - "a. I'm not your "honey" - so please call me this. Your endearment has no merit."
- s/b =....so please DON'T call me this.

Sorry for the missed word.

Not specifically looking for a god, but I did keep my eyes and ears peeled in case one tried to sneak up on me.

No gods appeared (and it was a very successful trip).

As for the Redneck: What's the use? He's hopeless, ignorant, brainwashed, wiseass high school dropout, but I may continue to goof on the poor slob.
By all means-carry on.

The cult leader? Why, the Jesus!, of course.
There is no evidence of the Jesus! being a "god".
At best, he was just a human. That's all any of the alleged evidence shows.
Christianity began as a cult, waiting for the charismatic "leader" to return after a preemptive death. When the leader didn't come through in the "prophesy", given in Matthew 24, confirmation bias http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confirmation_bia... and cognitive dissonance http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cognitive_disson... kicked in, and in walked theTrue Believerô http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/True-believer_sy... .
The cult still persists.
Jim Jones, David Karesh, Charles Manson, Bhagwan Rajneesh, and Warren Jeffs are/were cult leaders.

What do they all have in common? Pathological narcissism.

Jesus Christ was no cult leader in Christianity is not a cult, it doesn't fit the criteria.

It might fit the Topix Atheist! criteria, but we all know that's extremely biased and doesn't count.

It's just like the people that got me fired. The only way they could do it, was to lie. That's how I know they were wrong.
What else are you skeptical about, that you spend so much time being skeptical about, other than Christianity?

You're a liar.

What you're not understanding is that free will and an omniscient God are very compatible.

You can't look at your life, you might call it destiny or fate, as a linear thing. It's impossible for humans to fully imagine, but try to imagine endless possibilities of every action you make. Your day would have been different today if you forgot to set your alarm last night. Your life today would be different if you chose a different set of classes in school. Your life today would be different if you didn't get with that one girl, or if you did get with that other girl.

God can see all those possibilities and instant, at any given time. God is not responsible for your actions, you choose the left or the right road when you approach the fork in the road. If you took the right path and your day went smoothly and you found a bag on the ground with a lot of money in it and you were able to help some people out, you'd say that was wonderful and that's just chance. But if you took the left fork in the road and hit a giant bump and flattened your tire and you didn't have a spare, you get all pissed off at God because God didn't tell you to take the right road.

I'm skeptical but you understand.

Let's change it up a bit and ask you the same phrased question, but substituting "atheist" with "Christian"?

Why would a 'rational Christian'()an oxymoron) want to argue faith when asked a factual question???

That is more of an accurate question than yours is.

I don't argue "faith" because we all have "faith". I do discuss the ramifications of a false belief in an incomplete religion that has cause people to have false "faith", because many never researched their belief system outside of their belief system.

GO on Ki - answer the question. You can dish it out, but you seem to have a hard time accepting it if turned the other way around.

Hmmmmm....you are starting to sound faithless.

Of course, you need to distance yourself from Phelps in public.

But we've been reading your posts for quite a while now, and you've exposed yourself repeatedly.

You're obsessed with your religion, brainwashed from birth.

Your dad was (is?) a blatant racist, and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Your posts are often racist, homophobic and misogynist, and you feel proud of your vicious nature toward others.

And you are nevertheless self-righteous, because you think your god approves of your bigotry.

Except that you apparently don't go out in public and picket your filthy stuff (you can't be there and at your computer at the same time I guess), I see little difference between you and Phelps.

I hope that's clear, Redneck.

I've never been on welfare, so please don't make up things about me. Actually I've been quite successful in love and jobs.

Do you find comfort in making up things about others? Does your belief system call on you to do this?
- FYI - your tactics of intimidation only work on those who can't feign intimidation. But it does show lack of control, which also can be justified in a trait of confusion. Understandable. After all, you are claim to be a so-called "Christian" (in which you have yet to show that you are. Your posts are very clear.)

Let's see....that would make strike two against you.....*sighs*.....and I really thought you had something to offer in the form of a discussion.

Death comes to everyone. Underline that. Death is the issue. And that is the reason why it does not matter how much knowledge there is, Religion will always be a top subject. Because religion is the only subject that deals with death and God. Science deals with life on earth and knowing. Science cannot compete with death. And that is why Science cannot compete with God. because most people believe after death, then God.
Only stupid people believe in afterlife
