I just read this elsewhere and thought I'd share it with the thread since I recognized two of our theist poster here in the passage. I've numbered several of the sentences for ease of reference:
"There is no such thing as a sane god-worshipper.[1] Any person who can believe that right and wrong are whatever a capricious, egotistical lawgiver says they are is insane.[2] A person who believes that mass murder was evil when Hitler did it with gas chambers, but is not evil when his Sky Fuhrer does it with disease, famine, and natural disasters, is insane.[3] A person who believes that a Bible stating in fourteen places that the Earth is flat is a revelation from an omniscient deity is insane.[4] Anyone who can convince himself that the first fifty virgin born savior gods who rose from the dead on the third day were fairy tales, but on the fifty-first (approximate) retelling fantasy became fact, is insane."
Number [2] sounds like Riverside Redneck on the subject of AIDS and his god. Number [4] is KiMare. Number [1] is the whole religion
Bullshit.

Hitler murdered people against their will.

Most AIDS "victims" got it through their own choices.

There's a drastic difference there, my man.

No, but someone else asked me something along those lines. But, no connection.
I like the balance and measured view in the saying "six of one, half dozen of the other". Hence, the name.
Pleasure to meet you ;-)

You are constantly defending Buck and kissing his ass.

It's just a comment, I'm not putting you down for it.

Actually, he didn't. What RR said was:
"AIDS is not a medical mystery.
It's God's wrath on the sexual deviant and immoral.
There is only one cure for it; be sexually moral.
You'll never even worry about contracting it or any other STD."
I didn't say punishment.
So babies with AIDS weren't being sexually moral? Really?
Besides sounding insane, you sound quite cold. I imagine you have zero sense of compassion.
It wouldn't syrprise me if you also believed that every victim in the world is really to blame for their own victimization.

Remember, you walked out on your first wife, after you hit her.
Really? Tell me about the differences between the two and how religion was involved in both.

Since you claim to know so much.

Then, tell me how I walked out on my first wife. I want details.

Go.

Again, you're claiming twice = constant.

You're an oddball. I know you hate it when people agree with ole RR or are on "my side", but tough shit.

Nope. That isn't what I said, you're reading into it and filling in your own blanks.

Babies with AIDS cannot help it. It's the parent's that are to blame for their immorality.
Besides sounding insane, you sound quite cold. I imagine you have zero sense of compassion.
Wrong again.

I have great compassion for people that have AIDS not through their own choices, like babies born with it or medical mishaps.
It wouldn't surprise me if you also believed that every victim in the world is really to blame for their own victimization.

What the hell?

I don't consider someone contracting AIDS because of sexual immorality to be a victim. No more than a drunk driver that dies behind the wheel. They asked for it.

That may be a little too blunt for the Topix Atheists! sensitive little ears, but that's how I see it.

So it is God's wrath, but it's not God's punishment?

Right.

Care to tell me what the difference is between wrath and punishment?

I am not reading in to anything. In post #213429 you stated:
"If you don't want an STD, don't be promiscuous.

It's as simple as that."
You made no exceptions for babies or people with blood transfusions or fomitic transfer. You left no blank to br filled in.
Only after being called on it are you presenting some sort of different stance.

You misinterpreted my post.

I was alluding to your belief that there's this Satan fellow out there somewhere, influencing the behavior of humans.

I think the whole Satan thing is as silly as your belief in a god.

But you don't, right?

You do believe there is actually a Satan; a real Satan; a fallen angel, no, redneck?

And please, spare us the word jumble.

Few people can twist history as well as you. Hitler never read Darwin - he read Herbert Spencer. That's Social Darwinism, not Darwinism. Darwin was quite against the Social Darwinists. But we both know you're going to ignore that and push your attack on Darwin because of your strange religious bias against evolution.
I'm not surprised someone of your weak mental stature doesn't understand the difference, but the "Social" there is quite meaningful.
Where have you been hiding?

You hit your wife.

You walked out on your wife.

You got a new wife.

Not twice, redneck.

Each time Buck appears on the thread, you rush to him and kiss his ass.

It's a pattern.

That's standard procedure for the Redneck. Make a bold statement, then jump and dance and spin.

Once in a while though, when caught red-handed, the Redneck tells us he got caught in a "word jumble."
