During Thursday evenings Cal Bears - UCLA Bruins game, at the 9:00 minute mark of the first half, when a UCLA player inbounded the ball from the baseline after a made Cal free throw, TV replay appears to show the UCLA player's foot stepping on the baseline well prior to releasing the ball to his teammate. Now, whether or not he was on the baseline is not SUPER CLEAR on my DVR recoding . . . but what irks me more than anything is the official on that baseline was looking upcourt at the time; there's absolutely no reason for him to be focusing anywhere other than on ensuring the inbounding was done in compliance with the rules.
