Washington, DC – Today, Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp (R-MI) issued the following statement regarding the Internal Revenue Service informing the Committee that they have lost Lois Lerner emails from a period of January 2009 – April 2011. Due to a supposed computer crash, the agency only has Lerner emails to and from other IRS employees during this time frame. The IRS claims it cannot produce emails written only to or from Lerner and outside agencies or groups, such as the White House, Treasury, Department of Justice, FEC, or Democrat offices.
“The fact that I am just learning about this, over a year into the investigation, is completely unacceptable and now calls into question the credibility of the IRS’s response to Congressional inquiries. There needs to be an immediate investigation and forensic audit by Department of Justice as well as the Inspector General.
“Just a short time ago, Commissioner Koskinen promised to produce all Lerner documents. It appears now that was an empty promise. Frankly, these are the critical years of the targeting of conservative groups that could explain who knew what when, and what, if any, coordination there was between agencies. Instead, because of this loss of documents, we are conveniently left to believe that Lois Lerner acted alone. This failure of the IRS requires the White House, which promised to get to the bottom of this, to do an Administration-wide search and production of any emails to or from Lois Lerner. The Administration has repeatedly referred us back to the IRS for production of materials. It is clear that is wholly insufficient when it comes to determining the full scope of the violation of taxpayer rights.”
Oversight Subcommittee Chairman Charles Boustany Jr., M.D.(R-LA) added, "In the course of the Committee's investigation, the Administration repeatedly claimed we were getting access to all relevant IRS documents. Only now - thirteen months into the investigation - the IRS reveals that key emails from the time of the targeting have been lost. And they bury that fact deep in an unrelated letter on a Friday afternoon. In that same letter, they urge Congress to end the investigations into IRS wrongdoing. This is not the transparency promised to the American people. If there is no smidgeon of corruption what is the Administration hiding?"

AP Reporter to Obama Official: People Predicted this Would Happen if We Withdrew from Iraq
June 12, 2014 By TPNN
ZPsaki
On Thursday, State Department Spokesperson Jen Psaki attempted to explain why Iraq is falling into the hands of terrorists once again and how, after efforts to create stability in Iraq by American soldiers, our withdrawal from Iraq was “not a mistake.”
In a tense press conference that entailed a back-and-forth with Associated Press correspondent Matt Lee, Psaki kept to the party line of the Obama Administration and attempted to defend the decision to withdraw from Iraq as the right call.
“Obviously, the withdrawal from Iraq in 2011 was not a mistake,” Psaki asserted.
“So there are- there were factors that we could not have predicted five years ago- six years ago,” Psaki also said.
Pointing out the obvious, Lee shot back,“Right, but I mean, some people did predict that complete withdrawal, the withdrawal that happened in 2011, would lead to something like this.”
Psaki replied,“I would pose to these same individuals whether they would think that the small contingent of military that was being discussed to leave on the ground would have prevented this. And I think the answer would be no.”
Psaki also maintained that the move was “not a political decision.”
ISIS, an Al Qaeda-linked terrorist group, has been on the war path and capturing cities in Iraq that were once kept peaceful by U.S. troops. President Obama announced on Thursday that Iraq would “need help” considering the success of ISIS.
In 2011, after President Obama announced he would be winding down operations in Iraq, many experts predicted that doing so and so publicly announcing it would embolden terrorist groups looking to gain a foothold in Iraq.
Though Psaki touted the party line, this appears to be yet another Obama-led foreign policy disaster.
The Boy President needs to do another Apology Tour.

The first one didn't take.

Next time, he should take along some KY Jelly.

You're so full of shit, Nobraina.

Look at a map. Where is Libya?? Where is Iraq?? How did they move these weapons across the Middle East, across the Suez Canal, across Egypt, etc??

That's as stupid as your wild claims that Saddam shipped his WMD's to Syria, but nobody saw it!!

You nitwits are so stupid. Your arguments are sophmoric, at best.

All they had to do is waltz into Iraq and take what the Bush trained Iraqi Army abandoned. Now they own Bush's tanks, missiles, and alll sorts of sophisticated weapons that Bush gabve to his buddy Maliki.

It's all on Bush. And the whole world knows it. He was warned he was opening Pandora's Box, and he ignored it in his American hubris. And it's all come back to bite us.

It really is sad.
Allison seams like a very nice gal though__one who was enabled by the Marine Corps to attend a good university in Malibu CA. Most (the fking lions share) of the children of deceased veterans would never be so lucky.
And of course the deceased, had previously dumped Allison's cancer stricken mother for a fellow CIA employee well before his own demise essentially leaving Allison an orphan.
He wasn't the first American military casualty in Afghanistan__he wasn't military but CIA.
His wiki page is reasonably accurate.
Mohammed Fazi, who was in US captivity since 2001 was never charged and would have been released in the near future as the US winds down it's presence in Afghanistan..
As Paul Harvey would say__
the asshats completely ignore th efact that these guys would be released soon, once we leave Afganistan, by agreement with Afganistan.

But they see it as a chance to attack Obama.

Nobraina is especially amusing.

Time for America to face the fact they were lied to and spent a fortune in blood and treasure to put another dictator in place of the original dictator.

We failed. Time for the nitwits who supported Bush's failure to get over it.
